Can the new M132 (or Flir M100) be viewed wirelessly on an ipad? Just the camera? Like with a IP address.... like if I am running the radar and cart application on my ES128, can I access the camera on my Ipad to view it simultaneously while underway?

Type 1 pump adaptor threads don't connect

I have a Raymarine type 1 pump. I am trying to replace the hydraulic hoses. The pump install guide says the pump adaptors are npt thread, but all of the npt threaded fittings I have tried will only screw in about 2 threads. I have gone to 3 different hydraulic hose companies to try and get a hose fitting to fit either the adaptor or the pump direct and have not had any luck. Do I have a poorly threaded adaptor and if so, how can I get replacements.

Can anyone help me with that part number?

E120 Classic and Rd424D.. Not found

I am having a problem with a recent upgrade on a customer's boat. He is running the latest software on the E120 Classic. More than 95% of the time, the head unit will not find the radar on the network--via an older network switch and an adapter cable from seatalk hs to Raynet as an input to network switch. No option for emit/standby, rather, just an option to turn on and off the radar-----that NEVER finds the radar no matter how many times you initiate the "on" option.

Obviously with a new 5m radar cable and the adapter cable to get into the older network switch, I cannot come to any conclusion as to why the radar is unable to connect to the plotter.

As a final note, we replaced his 9 year old 24" dome last Dec for non-communication issues as well. But that was connected, as you know, to the radar input connector on the back of the E120...NOT via a network switch.

His network has a very rarely used 2xE80's, DSM300, and now the digital radar.

On the seatalk2 connection is an off-brand N2K autopilot and 2-Volvo IB's. This system until Dec was flawless other than a non-communicative analog radar.

Boat is in impeccable condition all top-tier installation requirements met in 2008.

What I've tried..

-- 14v.4 DC observed (connected to shore power)
-- multiple inputs chosen on network switch.
-- power cycling entire 12v system, has not worked consistently

Is this old software in the radar dome?
Bad board in the plotter?
Does the radar need its own power switch?

C80 Classic unable to read archive.fsh file

Hello,

I've done my best, digging around in the old, defunct Raymarine forum for answers, and now I've come with a few questions:

All I wish to do, is move routes and waypoints back and forth to my C80 Classic and my laptop.

I'm using a Sandisk 256mb card, brand new. Laptop is running Windows 10 but I do have access to a laptop running Windows 7 if necessary. I am using RNS 6.2.

- I have successfully exported some routes from the C80 to my laptop and can view them in RNS. No problems there.
- I have created a .rwf file containing about 170-odd new waypoints that I wish to export to the CF card for import into the C80 MFD.
- I have created an Archive.fsh file from that .rwf file and it appears on the CF card.
- I have also tried creating the Archive.fsh file directly in a folder called C:\Archive\Archive.fsh and pasting it directly onto to CF card at the root level.
- I have verified that I am following the approved naming conventions for these waypoints.

When I insert the card into the C80 MFD and attempt to retrieve the waypoints, the "WPT" "RTE" and "TRK" lists are blank, and the MFD claims that there is nothing there.

Also, when I "test" the Archive.fsh file by re-importing into RNS from the CF card, the waypoints don't show up on the map.

What could I be doing wrong?
Next question: Is Voyage Planner compatible with the C80 MFD? That is, will it create files that are compatible for import into the C80? If Voyage Planner is simpler and more reliable and compatible with the C80 MFD, I'll happily shell out the money for the software.

Thanks!

I installed my dragonfly the other day and turned it on. After it got a fix, it kept having an alarm go off after about every minute, indicating position fix lost. I did not see any settings to turn this particular alarm off and it will not stop until I hit the okay button. Any idea how to shut this thing up?

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade an existing C90W. I was told that there will be a mounting conversion kit available for the Axiom 9 to convert the existing cut out for a C90W to fit the new Axiom 9.

Is this true? If so, when will it be available?

Thanks,

Ken

Raymarine autopilot hydraulic pump threads

The bodies of Raymarine's autopilot hydraulic pumps feature ports to accept hydraulic lines having 1/4" British Standard Pipe (BSP) male fittings. Raymarine autopilot pumps are packaged with three 1/4" BSP male to 1/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) female adapters (part #M81187) to accommodate connecting the hydraulic pump to hydraulic lines having 1/4" NPT male fittings.

I recently had my hydraulic steering seals replaced and came back to my unit with the rudder position sensor disconnected from the ram. I reconnected the end to the ram, but noticed the seal a the end of the sensor was disconnected.

Is there some sort of fluid that needs to be in the sensor, or can I simply tighten the seal?

Wi-fish IOS app with Dragonfly 7

I am able to see the sonar views on my iPhone, but I can't see map views. In the help menu on the IOS Wi fish app, it says you have to download some map data first. The app doesn't provide any mechanism to download anything.

I assumed that the map displayed on the dragonfly would appear on the iPhone just as the sonar images do. I can't find any further documentation on this. Please advise

st5000 plus

Hi,
First time posting. I have a ST5000 plus autopilot. worked well up until putting the boat in the water 6 weeks ago. Had a pretty bad leaking steering cylinder so changed it as it had to be done and i thought air might be the problem.
The issue- when operating the auto pilot on standby or auto, it will only steer to starboard.
I have switched the drive polarity and it will then send it to port but not starboard. The - (minus) inputs are not responding.
-The rudder indicator is working and showing correctly
-Allthough I'm along side while doing these tests, i have set it to auto, and while inputting the minus in increments of 10, the compass reading on screen reflects the inputs. Then if i manualu steer to the port and go past the compass reading the auto will then energies the auto helm to correct back to starboard. but never to port
Any ideas???

Power cable length

I purchased a new e95 chart plotter last fall and am beginning the installation. The power cable is not sufficiently long enough to be chased below deck to where it will connect to the power bus. Is there such a thing as a longer version of that cable or an extension?

Breaker and in-line fuse questions

$

I’m planning to install a i70s instrument pack, as well as a EV-200 autopilot, and I’ve run into a question I can’t seem to solve. I’ve decided that I’m going power the SeatalkNG backbone independently (i.e., not through the ACU-200) by running a SeatalkNG Power Cable from the iTC-5 to the “Instrument/Radar” breaker on my breaker panel. I plan to check the rating of that breaker, and will replace it with a 5 amp if it isn’t already (is that right?).

My question may seem a bit obvious, but I can’t seem to figure it out: how do I install a fuse for this connection? The manual is clear that “the distribution point should be fed from the vessel’s primary power source by 8 AWG cable,” and that it needs to be protected by a 5 amp fuse. However, I can’t find any in-line fuse holders that use 8 AWG cable and also can hold a fuse as small as 5 amp. Am I totally wrong to think that adding a fuse holder with a smaller gauge wire will create a bottleneck?

Also, the autopilot should be connected to a 20 amp breaker, correct?

Thanks!

Axiom RealVision 3D Transducer Installed with Optional Jack-Plate Mount Kit

This is the new Axiom RealVision 3D RV-100 transom mount transducer mounted using the optional Jackplate Mounting Kit (A80480) and Jackplate Spacer Kit (A80482).

This particular installation is on the back of the new BassCat Lynx bass boat, which uses a SeaStar Solutions Jackplate. The boat was on display at the 2017 Bassmaster Classic Outdoor Expo, and is one of the first to use this transducer setup.

It is a simple and sturdy setup for bassboats, skiffs and other jackplate-equipped shallow water vessels. All of the components are made of rugged stainless steel.

The RV-100's normal transom mount kickup bracket and carrier get unbolted from the transducer itself, and the jackplate bracket slides into the same position and gives you a pattern of convenient side-mount holes.

Here is an image of the bracket kit alone so you can see the holes better:

We also offer a spacer kit that allows you to position the transducer farther outboard in case you have any clearance issues:

Wi-Fish vs Navionics Boating App with Dragonfly products

The latest version of the Wi-Fish app now adds the Augmented Reality feature to the fishfinder imagery features which it had previously supported. This new feature, unique to the Wi-Fish app, works with the smartphone/tablet's GPS, compass and camera in your smartphone or tablet to show precisely where you are in relation to your saved waypoints. The name, symbol, bearing and range to each waypoint is displayed as a dynamic overlay on a real-time view of the waterway in front of you (see the screen snapshot below). You can find more information concerning Wi-Fish's Augmented Reality feature here.

The following screen snapshot from the Wi-Fi CHIRP DownVision™ Sonar web page shows a mobile device running the Navionics Boating app, not the Wi-Fish app. Unlike the Wi-Fish app, the Navionics Boating app is designed to display detailed navigational cartography along with fishfinder imagery.

2 questions

I have a Pathfinder 2kW Product code M92650
serial #1020267

I need the 8 pin connector going to the radome - where can I get this?

I cut the cable half way down and need a box or something to hold the new splices. I know folks don't recommend this, but any recommended junction boxes/fittings, etc. Thanks.
