[CA] Digital Depth Transducer for Axiom 9?

Which transducers can I select from for digital depth only with two Axiom 9's (E70366), one i70, and an iTC-5? I'd like a low-profile through hull (fiberglass) with about 10-15 deg deadrise (but have not measured yet).

Or should I go with one of the E70367-02 or E70367-03 for some reason, even though I do not need fish finder/bottom machine functionality, only digital depth?

Autopilot will be updated to Evolution later this year, if that has any bearing.

[CA] pulling Nmea 2000 from 400g course computer.

I have a Raymarine 400G course computer along with the 6001+ control unit. I am using a Furuno if nmea2k2 converter to pull the fast heading from the nmea 0183 outputs on the 400G and convert to nmea2000. I am not getting the data but my units show the if nmea2k2 in the string.

Axiom 7 Surface Install

Hi Support,

I have an Axiom 7 screen going into my console as a surface install. Would the included back surface cover or the rear mounting brackets be the best option? I currently have the included cover but was curious why there is another type of rear mounting bracket available?

Also would any marine sealant be necessary for between the front of the screen against the console or is the included foam seal all that is needed?

Axiom RMK-10

Hi Chuck,
RMK-10 connected to HS5 to Axiom 12. RMK-10 doesn’t turn on or is seen by MFD. On second RMK-10 without using external power and stir not seen. First RMK-10 connected to external power and did not power up. What I’m I doing wrong?

RV-300 Transducer

Having trouble finding the RV-300 Plastic transducer. I ordered one a month ago and waited for it to come in, but running out of time before launch. Raymarine gave the dealer no eta on when it would be in. Westmarine and the Raymarine website don't show that the RV-300 even exists! Was there a problem with them? should I cough up the extra cash for the brass RV-200 even if I can find the Plastic RV-300?

[CA] Any need to change My eS128/eS97 from Lighthouse II to Lighthouse III?

I have been following the various postings regarding Lighthouse II vs Lighthouse III software. I have an eS128 and an eS97 installed on my boat. They seem to be quite happy running the latest release of Lighthouse II.

I see from the threads that some functions supported in Lighthouse II are not supported in Lighthouse III and vice versa. Are there any technical or support reasons why I should move my eS MFD's from Lighthouse II to Lighthouse III?

Status Update: RV-300 Plastic Thru-Hull RealVision Transducers

The following is an update on the outstanding RV-300 Plastic Thru-Hull RealVision Transducers. Unfortunately, we will not be releasing the transducers in the immediate future. We have encountered an issue during our rigorous stress testing protocol that has proven quite difficult to overcome and as a result are exploring a design modifications. With permanently installed products, such as transducers, we hold an extremely high standard of reliability and are not willing to compromise on those standards to get product out the door. It is important to note that this issue only pertains to the RV-300 plastic thru-hull transducers. The RV-100 transom and RV-200 bronze thru-hull transducers have not exhibited this same issue, each passing the very same tests with flying colors. Raymarine has removed the RV-300 Plastic Thru-Hull RealVision Transducers from its web pages until such time as Raymarine is ready to begin shipping these transducers.

This FAQ will be updated when further information becomes available.

[DG] Realvision 3D sloping bottom problem

I have an Axiom 12 pro RVX connected to RV-212S and RV-212P (12deg) plus some other Raymarine kit recently fitted to a Botnia Targa 31.

The problem I have is that the bottom on Realvison 3D is not displayed as an constant depth but rather as a slope even when I know it to be flat.

Other than that the Realvison 3D seems to be working ok.

Is there some adjustment I need to do?

(DG) raymarine st40 transducer

what compatable transducer will work with raymarine st40 depth unit.
i see that the cable end has 3 hook ups to connect to the st40 depth and i do not think westmarine sells the e26009 transducer which i found for $67 at sailnet. now that west marine price matches it would be nice to get a 200khz transducer their. i want to remove the speed transducer and put in the depth transducer in it's place. thanks cpt.craig

I have standard horizon intrepid plus vhf radio with NMEA 0183 Version (1.5 to 2.3 ) plug on its accessory cable. I want to connect this radio to my seatalk ng backbone which consists of my st 60 instruments and 6002 autopilot via seatalk to seatalking adapter kit , es75 mfd, quantum WiFi radar and ais 650. What cable (if any) do I need to do so?

[CA] Axiom 9-C90w-C120- Airmar b744v

I currently have installed on my boat the C90w and C120 linked via dsm300 to and Airmar b744v transducer. I just purchased the Axiom 9rv and RV-200 transducer. My question is can I link the b744v transducer to the axiom via Y cable or does it have to be run through the dsm300? I think my dsm300 may be shot. Havent had time to diag it yet but I wanted to see if it was even worth doing. Is there an advantage to running both transducers?

Also, can I link my C series units to the new axiom via seatalk or nema2000 or older version without dsm 300? What functionality could I gain by doing this? Thanks in advance for your time.

I have a D7 bought in 2015. I have been unable to find how I can enter gps numbers directly from an outside source without having to place an arbitrary waypoint and then changing the numbers to what I want to enter.

[CA] diagram request

Equipment > e127, 18'' DD Digital Raydome, Ray218 VHS. At present the raydome is connected via a raynet cable to port one of the e127. The VHF is connected to the e127 via a NEMA connection .. Port 2 on the e127 is not used. I will be soon adding a raymarine auto pilot and possibly another e series mfd. ... What would be the best way to connect all together . Can the second e series unit be connected directly to the currant e127 ? Would the auto pilot be connected to a Seatalk switch of some type ?

Con you make some recommendations as to the best way to make these connections please.. I was looking for a pictured schematic on the forum but "came up short "

Hi

I have an Axiom pro 12" rvx and would like to designate an area as a hazard and link that geo location to an alarm.

There is an oyster farm not far from my harbor with about 30 buoys I would like to avoid. This farm is in the path on the approach to the harbor.

How should I create this zone and associate an alarm with it?

I am in contract for a new, to me, sailboat. It has a Raymarine ST4000 wheel pilot. Despite my google searches, I can't find the specs for the unit. I want to know the maximum vessel displacement for which this unit was designed.

(DG) EV1 wheelpilot problem

I have an EV 1 wheelpilot that has recently started "sticking". It will make a wheel adjustment of 45 degree or so, stick and make a clicking sound like it is only partially engaged. If I bump it slightly, it will resume movement. The unit is still under warranty, is the drive motor "bad" or is the wheel ring worn?

(DG) Evolution Auto Pilot

I purchased and replaced my old autopilot with the raymarine wheel drive autopilot. I am very satisfied. I also purchased the rudder indicator that I am now installing.

The directions say that the indicator can be installed upside down, just reverse the wires. I will have to do this due to space and the steering quadrant.

Now the question. In the directions it shows the indicator on the port side of the rudder. I need to put it on the starboard side. Is there anything I need to change when I hook it up electrically?

So I will mount upside down and on the starboard side. Anyone mount the rudder indicator on the port side?

[CA] Traditonal Chirp Sonar Not Working

Just upgraded my es78 from lighthouse 2 to the newest version of lighthouse 3.488 also got a new boat and moved MFD and transducers. My issue is my traditional chirp sonar wont read depth or display a graph, it jumps all over auto ranging for depth, Ive set to manual and it still didnt work. alongside with downimaging the downimaging doesnt work, but if run downimaging alone, then downimaging works graphs and reads a depth. Any ideas on if its a upgrade issue? Transducer issue? or MFD issue? I seen there has been a newer version of transducer cpt-100 mines A80270, new one A80351 was there a reason for the change?
