Transducer mounting, Dragonfly 4 pro

With the current position, I keep getting an unclear image in calm water, nevermind under power or in current. This is the 3rd position I have tried. Do I have it mounted too low?
At the level it is at now, I also lose the bottom while under power, 1-click lower and i can keep the image while on plane, but the interference is still there.
i have attached pictures of the mounting along with the image I keep getting

Yamaha Gateway to Axiom

Read through the info on the Engine data interfacing. I am still a bit unclear. So, I have the connections to my Yamaha 300 HP V8 connected through the Yamaha gateway as shown in the attached illustration. I have the data going into my properly connected and terminated NMEA 2K Network. And the NMEA 2K Net is interfaced to my Axiom 9 Master. Only Data showing on my Axiom 9 is RPM and Trim. All other NMEA data seems to be showing up (Haven't tested the AIS yet).

This is the Yamaha Part that I was told I needed to interface the data with my Chartplotter.

P319 Transducer not talking to MFID E7D

I have a P319 transducer that is no longer communicating with my E7D MFD. when I look at the male pin it appears that the 6th pin (counting counter clockwise) has disappeared. Is it possible to purchase just the mail pin for this transducer?

HG EV-200 connection to my HS Network Switch???

Just bought a new Catamaran and I want to install a new autopilot (EV-200) that has a Seatalk HG connection... 4 wires from the Control unit ... Seatalk HG Plug at the other end... What do I need to connect in my Seatalk Network Switch # E55058... ???

Wil there be any communication issues with the E-120 Classic series MFP??
Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Transducer problem?

I have an 8 year old B60 thru hull transducer that was connected to an a67 and worked flawlessly for years. When my a67 was damaged, I installed an a77. My research with Raymarine indicated a B60 was an authorized transducer for an a77, so I did not replace the 'ducer. The machine works fine on dead calm, flat water but the first wave or boat wake I hit, I get a message saying transducer not connected. The depth function will not return unless I power off the MFD and start it up again. I had my installer re-check all wiring connections and even put heat shrink around the connections to ensure they are snug and stay that way. No help.
I am sure you have heard it all......what is the cause of this issue?

Dragonfly pro 4 Charts no detail, blocky outlines

my Dragonfly charts are no longer working correctly. This is with/without my updated Navionics card inserted. Seems like the the installed charts on the device is corrupted or something. When I put it in DEMO mode the Charts look awesome, but when I take it out of demo mode I get block edges and or coastlines. Doesn't show depths in charts or channels, this is in any detail mode. I may need to get a replacement card? any help would be awesome.

Preventing corrosion of socket and cable pins

Raymarine products which are designed to be directly exposed to the marine environment feature gaskets to seal the product to the mounting surface. Should a Raymarine product be designed to have its power, communications, and transducer sockets exposed to the marine environment, then such products will be designed for use with cables featuring seals to prevent exposure of the pins of the sockets and cables to the marine environment. Should the Raymarine product remain connected to the power/transducer cable throughout its life, then the seal should prevent any corrosion of the cable or socket pins. However, should the be removed from its mounting location when not in use, then it would be recommended that dielectric compound (ex. Dow Corning DC4) be applied to the pins of the power, communications, and transducer cables to prevent corrosion.

Raymarine does not recommend any specific electronics contact cleaner. Should electronics contact cleaner be used, then care should be taken to ensure that the cleaner is safe for any plastics used in the construction of the product.

Axiom and DSC

Hi,

I have an Axiom MFD with an Icom IC-M504. They are connecting using an Actisense NGW-1-STNG bridging the Icom's NEMA 0183 to the SeatalkNG backbone.

The Icom is receiving the GPS data from the Axiom but the Axiom is not placing waypoints when the Icom sends GPS coordinates after a DSC position request. I am pretty sure the NGW1 is sending the data into the SeatalkNG network. Is this not supported with the Axiom (yet)?

I need help with connecting a P79 transducer to my new es78. I have an extension cable A80273 TRANSDUCER EXT CBL FOR CHIRP/DOWNVISION with one end connected and to the es78 and the other end bare wire. I need to hard-wire the transducer.

autopiolt steers in a circle

I have a ST6001 autopiolt, followed all the steps to reconfigure it, the dealer calibration, seatrail etc.. When I put the autopiolt on auto the boat will just keep turnning in a circle and the display will say that it is offcoarse.

Let me know if you need more information or if someone can point me in the right direction what to look at.

SPX 30 only turns to Starboard

Will only turn to starboard.
Ram works in both directions.
Course computer outputs 12v to starboard but 0.5v to port on motor output.
Is there a SoCal repai center?

C-80 stopped displaying Data

I have an old C-80 which seems to be installed using a Seatalk conversion kit powered from the AutoPilot
The Tridata and ST60+ work and the AutoPilot display seems to be OK.
BUT None of the telemetry from and sensors (GPS, Wind, Depth) are being shown in the C-80 display. I've replaced the battery in the GPS antenna and remade all connections.

I'd like a technique to test the 3 wire (Seatalk 1??) at the C-80 connection or ANY other idea to help solve this problem.

Replacement Cradle for Smart Controller

I'm trying to find a replacement cradle and belt clip my Smart Controller.

Is the correct part number A18117?

When I search Google for this part number, there are several for sale on places like eBay, but most indicate this is for the S100 controller. Are they the same?

Can dealers get this directly from RayMarine?

P70, invalid command

While running out to fish on Monday. the C127 MFD gave me a couple error messages of invalid command...after looking around the P70 control head was black, tried to power back up etc. Engaged the autopilot via the MFD and it still worked. Once back in I powered everything down and tried restarting it, still black, but it beeps when you hit some of the buttons. I also disconnected the seatlkng from the back and let it sit a few minutes and same symptoms continue.

nowrad will not display sr 150

I cannot get the nowrad color shading to show. I can get all of the other items to display (storm tracks, lightning, etc). I have toggled nowrad on and off with no luck. I have had sirius send a normal refresh signal and some sort of advanced refresh, but they say there is nothing else they can do on thier end. My e165's are on version 17.45-04003 and the sr150 is on ndr201303191413.

Navigation data screen help

Once a dock to dock route is programmed in I'd like to use the data screen to steer. Any info on the icons that are on the screen? I can't find a legend. Or at least advise what the small boat icon on the right side of the screen function is

Axiom not marking fish

I have been trying to locate fish with the sonar, but cannot see any fish. I also have a Lowrance unit at the helm and it shows fish as well as the other features below the boat. The Axiom is at the front of the boat with a transom mount transducer. I see features as I do on the Lowrance, but no fish. Bottom, bait [censored], etc. are clear.
Also, I was fishing in about 30 ft. of water and the axiom went crazy. Lost bottom, full of interference, etc. I rebooted, reseated transducer connection, and powered off the Lowrance unit. Nothing helped. As I moved from the location, the symptoms dissappeared. When I moved back over the same location, the symptoms reappeared. I was in a strip mining pit the varied from 10 to 50 ft. depths. Could have an underwater object be the cause? All sonar settings are on "auto".
