The a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs continuously log system performance data (found within the chronologically latest MFDPP_xxxx.log file) and should the system encounter a failure, then an additional log file will be created each time that such a failure is encountered. These files may be request by Raymarine Product Support in support of an investigation.

Executing the command sequence (HOME->SET-UP->MAINTENANCE->DIAGNOSTICS->SAVE ERROR LOGS from the system's Data Master MFD (HOME->SET-UP->DATA MASTER) will cause the following application error log files to be saved to your microSD memory card:
----- MFDAPP_xxxx.log (where xxxx is the log file counter) - Generally, only the two most recent logs will be required for supporting an investigation.
----- SYSLOG_ALL_YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-ss.log (where xxxx is the diagnostic file counter and YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-ss is the date/time stamp)
----- SYSLOG_CURRENT_YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-ss.log (where xxxx is the diagnostic file counter and YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-ss is the date/time stamp)
