Raystar 130 to E120

I am installing a Raystar 130 GPS antenna to seatalk and a E120.
I am not sure where the three cables plug into the Seatalk converter base.

Cannot go to cursor, or follow route

Have just installed a new Ray Type 2 Hydraulic pump. After bleeding the system and calibrating the rudder - the autopilot will lock onto and keep a course in "auto" mode will accurately steer the boat +10/-10 degrees, etc.- but will not "goto cursor" or follow a route.
I have:
•checked to make sure GPS fix is valid - it is.
•checked to make sure it is not in MOB mode - it is not.
•checked to make sure it is not already following route - it is not.
•Unit powered off and rebooted several times.
•Have performed "pilot factory reset" - still have the problem after going through "dockside wizard, setup"

Anything else I can check? Should I re-install ver. 17 software?

In line with using Lighthouse Version 6 (or above) software, Raymarine is pleased to announce the option of adding an OEM / User splash screen to the power-on sequence for the a, c, e, and gS Series Multifunction display products. The uploaded OEM splash screen will be viewed after the initial power-on Raymarine splash screen. Please see the attached document addressing how to create and install an OEM / User splash screen.

Resetting / Removing OEM / User Splash Screen

In line with using Lighthouse Version 6 (or above) software, Raymarine provided an option of adding an OEM / User splash screen to the power-on sequence for the a, c, e, eS, and gS Series Multifunction display products. The uploaded OEM splash screen will be viewed after the initial power-on Raymarine splash screen. Should one desire to reset / remove the OEM / User splash screen to permit the original Raymarine splash screen to be displayed, then:
1) copy the rayatom.upgrade.08.sh and rayatom.upgrade.08.sh.sig files attached to this thread to the root level directory of a microSD memory card having a capacity of no more than 32GB.
2) power the MFD OFF
3) insert the microSD memory card created in step #1 into the MFD's memory card reader
4) power the MFD ON and then permit it to complete initialization
5) eject the microSD memory card (HOME->SET-UP->MY DATA->EJECT CARD) created in step #1

2nd Station upgrade issue

I upgraded my Ray60 to version 1.35. I just purchased an new Ray Mic 2nd station and tried to get it to upgrade as well by putting the radio in to the boot loader mode and 2nd station mic into programming mode, then re-flashing 1.35. Upgrade appears to go through, 2nd station mic screen flashes at a faster pace after the MFD shows the upgrade is 50%, which, according to the instruction video Raymarine posted on YouTube, implies that the Ray60 update is finished and 2nd station is updating. Upgrade completes successfully according to the MFD. Ray60 boots right up and is at 1.35. Second station just stay blank with back light on, and periodically flashes off then back on (similar to programming mode, but a different pattern). Only way to get the 2nd station to power off at this point is to disconnect it from the Ray60.

I have gone through this process multiple times, but still cannot get the 2nd station to work, just a blank screen with the back light on.

Is there something I'm missing? Do I have to turn something on in the Ray60 menu to enable the 2nd station?

C80 Chartplotter slow down

I recently updated my C80 Chartplotter with the most recent charts from Navionics. After doing so I noticed a significant delay in moving around the chart using the softkeys, such as when I wanted to scan out, there was a 10-20 sec delay in having the chart zoom in or out. Also when I try to use the arrow keys to move the chart from side to side or up and down to look at another area, the cursor reaches the end of the chart, but nothing happens for 10-20 seconds and then it move one frame at a time. It seems like my cashe memory has bogged down and can't keep up with the soft key inputs. Any ideas or a solution? I want to do an update on the C80 software, but am waiting to receive a 128 mb CF card which was recommended rather than a larger one. They are not available in stores any longer, so the internet is supplying me with one. Thanks!

ICOM M506 AIS

Hello, I have an Icom M506 VHF radio with AIS attached to my network via NMEA-2000. The radio picks up GPS signal from the network, displays AIS on the radio display but I can't get it to display on my Raymarine A128 MFD. Can you let me know what settings I need to adjust on my MFD in order to get a display.

Hello support team.

My E95 is managing my fuel consumption and he is able to display the DTE (Distance to Empty) on any screen on the unit.
Is there a way to transmit the values related to fuel management by the SeatalkNG to the other display ? (I70s).

Evoluion will not working properly

I recently updated the software for my electronics which included the AP. The instructions included the need to recalibrate the AP so I went ahead and did the dock side wizard and everything appeared fine with the compass on my AP matching my manual compass.

The problem occurs when I hit auto, it begins tracking then turns hard to starboard and wants to go in a circle, the alarm goes off telling me I am heading off course. It then will turn to the Port all the way and then back to the starboard and continue doing that. It worked fine prior to the last software upgrade.

I followed the instruction here to a T a few times and no improvement. http://forum.raymarine.com/showthread.php?tid=904

I also read about switching the wires but it was working fine prior to the upgrade so I don't know how that would fix it.

Any idea on what I am missing?

I have ACU-200 and the P70R Control on a 34' open fisherman.

a75 possibly causing nmea2000 bus crash

Not sure if this belongs on the MFD or instrument forum.

Four years ago I installed a system that has the following; Furuno NavNet3D display, Simrad AC42/AP28 autopilot, WSO100 weather station, DST800 transducer, two NMEA2000 GPS antennas. The system worked great for 3 1/2 years. Six months ago I installed the a75 (software v16.47) display connected to the NMEA2000 backbone. The boat has not been used that much during the past six months. The a75 displayed all the NMEA2000 data that was on the buss. Four weeks ago something strange started to happen and that was randomly the NMEA buss would crash and all the data on the buss would be gone. The system crash would happen 20-40 minutes after the system was up a running. The DST800 would report correct information when everything was running. I started to trouble shoot the system and when I removed the DST800 from the buss the data for the other devices that were on the system would come back. So I concluded that I had a bad DST800. I have sent this back to airmar for evaluation and they have told me that the DST800 is fine. The only new device o the nmea2000 buss is the a75. Have you seen anything like this related to the a75

Dual Station Depth Speed Requirement

I have a requirement to display vessel speed and depth on both the upper helm (bridge) and lower helm positions (dual station). I think the i40 Bidata displays fit the bill if I use the all-in-one depth/speed transducer (this last item is very important to be confirmed as I need a transom mount depth/speed transducer... P/N being on the drawing below).

Please review my drawing below and advise me if you think I have the system connections correct. I also need confirmation that all the P/Ns on my drawing are correct. Thank-you.

Sirius 150 Weather receiver, GPS & Antenna

We are looking to acquire and integrate a Sirius 150 weather receiver.

Q1. The documentation says a GPS is required. If I am providing GPS to the e165 MFD via NMEA 0183, will that satisfy the requirement for the Sirius 150 receiver?

Q2. The documentation refers to a type SRA-40 antenna for the receiver. Will any SRA-40 compatible antenna work? When looking at specifications for the SRA-40, the specs only mention Sirius XM and I am not sure if that also includes weather in addition to the radio?

Q3. Can you recommend antenna and cable to handle a 50ft length?

Ray215 Squelch

My squelch cannot be turned low enough. At the minimum the display shows two bars and nothing comes through. It cannot be turned down to a point where the radio makes static like it did when it was new. Transmission works fine. Is there a way to adjust the squelch level lower or do I need to send it to repair or is it hopeless?

Drive Type Selection

I am recommissioning an SPX 30 autopilot with ST70 controller after updating the AP software. The boat displaces approximately 36000 pounds, has a Simrad RPU160 reversible pump (160-550cc) being used with a Seastar HC5319 cylinder (226.4cc). Would you recommend specifying drive type 1 (80-230cc) or drive type 2 (230-350cc) for this boat?

RC435 Chartplotter Shows Incorrect Ship Position

My friend has a RC435 Chartplotter. It seems to be working fine except the ship position is off by approx. 100-200 feet. All of the options in the menu seem to be fine. I have set the SD card and rebooted. How do I calibrate to get the correct position?

AIS proAIS download

I am trying to check the operating status of my 650 via a windows 10 laptop. I have downloaded the USB drivers (at least the software says " ProAIS USB Driver v2.00 has been installed on your computer").
I have also down loaded the sw version 1.15 software on the computer.
The issue is laptop will not recognized the 650. I can see that they are connected, since when power if off to the 650, the red LED is lighted when the USB cord is connected.

What am I doing wrong?

ST8002 with an E127

Two questions, I installed a new e127 on a new to me 2007 Legacy 32 Down-east Express.
I updated the Lighthouse software and created a route using the auto routing. I opened up the route and hit follow route, and i don't know how to engage the autopilot to follow the route.
My prior boat had e97s and a p70 installed at the same time in 2013 so it was all same vintage electronics.
The AP is on the network, as i can see the rudder position on the e127, which also begs another question, which is, can I place the rudder indicator permanently on the e127 display as a header or footer so it always displays, it is difficult to see on the AP head.
