I purchased a C127 this spring. I just purchased a new Navionics Platinum+ chip. I did the complete updates to the chip. I followed the instructions for turning on Live Chart (Menu/Depths & Contours/Sonar Logs [ON]... Presentation/Advanced Options/... However, none of the options to turn Live Chart on are available, they are all grayed out. I am able to select the new chart and can display it on my C127, but I still can't utilize Live Chart option. I have updated all of the software for all of my Raymarine products (as of 8/10/16). I backed up my data and did a settings reset and the Live Chart options are still grayed out. I vaguely recall during the initial set up of the C127 saying NO to the option to allow the C127 to overwrite or write to my sonar logs; however, I am not sure if this could be causing the problem of not being able to turn Live Chart on or not. Do you have any ideas of how I might correct the problem?

Additional Data Boxes
I have a C97 MFD. I currently have the two data boxes on the lower left corner that show time and time to the destination. Is there a way to display two more data boxes in the lower right corner? I would like to know distance to waypoint and distant to destination.

Finding the Radio ID for Sirius Weather Radio on MDF es75
Trying to access XM- Weather - Sirius Weather on my new es75 MFD and when I access the Sirius Weather icon on the MDF the radio ID is blank and displays waiting on data. The data never comes, how do you find the radio ID or data for the radio id to activate the Sirius -XM Weather feature?

How can I determine the SiriusXM SSID within my system of a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs?
In order to use an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD's SiriusXM Satellite Weather and SiriusXM Satellite Radio applications,
- the MFD must be interfaced to one of the following SiriusXM/Sirius Satellite Weather / Satellite Radio Receivers:
----- SR150
----- SR6 (retired)
----- SR100 (retired)
- and the MFD's Weather Receiver Type (HOME->SET-UP->SYSTEM SET-UP->EXTERNAL DEVICES->WEATHER SET-UP->RECEIVER TYPE) must then be configured to match the model of receiver which has been interfaced to the system.
After meeting the criteria above, then the SiriusXM Satellite Weather Receiver's ISN may be accessed via the command sequence MENU->SIRIUS USER ID from within the SiriusXM Weather application. The SiriusXM Satellite Radio Receiver's ISN will be displayed within the ID field of the SiriusXM Audio app's user interface.

Humidity problems with i70 display
Hello, we have a costumer experiencing issues with i70 displays and hope you can help us.
The problem is that sometimes moisture appears inside the display, we have replaced the i70 entirely and the new one showed the same behavior. Have you had this issue before? what can be done to solve it?
I attach some pictures.
Thanks in advance,
Martin Sivolella

Quantumm power usage
Power usage is a big concernews on my small boat. I'm excited about the Quantum radar. Question, considering my MFD and the Quantum together, would I be using more wattage with a hardwired c version, or the W wi-fi connection? It would be nice with a lightning strike to not have a cable running directly to MFD, and obviously would be an easier install. However I want to have as little draw as possible on my batteries, so if I can save some wattage by running the extra cable I will.

Does A68 require a CP100 so downvison sonar will work?
I just had a Raymarine A68 installed. I was under the distinct understanding that Chirp Downvision sonar was built into the A68 and with the right transducer would display sonar on the screen.
My dealer installed a CP100 in addition to the A68, and the sonar seems to be working, but was the CP100 necessary? I thought the A68 made eliminated the need for the CP100 sonar module.
Please advise asap as I need to discuss this with my dealer right away.
Thanks in advance for your help!

a75 not detecting NMEA2000
Hi,
Have an a75 unit that came with a boat I bought. Software was updated last week, and I'm running Navionics charts without issue. It was just a standalone chartplotter.
I wanted to add engine interface, so interfaced to the gateway, got the patch cable and the NMEA backbone all hooked up and powered up.
I went to the engine setup wizard on the unit, nothing found. Went to the settings to check for devices/external data, nothing found. I made sure it was the data master. Checked to see if there were any other settings available - didn't see anything else.
So, I pulled it next to my other boat, connected everything to my other boats network and e97, and instantly had all the data from the engine. Only thing I changed was unplugging the spur and running a longer backbone cable - I used the power source for the e97 on the Yellowfin and the network was powered by the RHIB.
So, what's wrong with my a75? Am I missing some kind of communication/network setting? Or is it a hardware issue?
Thanks!

Thanks for your help,

e97 touchscreen doesn't seem to have complete functionality
Hi,
Have an e97 that I bought new. Being the hybrid touch, I expected control with either the screen or the keypad. Software was updated 3-4 weeks ago I believe, would have to check version number to be precise.
When I got it, I assumed it just was designed that way, as a way to avoid accidental touchscreen presses, especially since the calibration runs fine, and all the points and corners seem to work ok. However, some of the "functions" or "commands" just won't work when selected on the touchscreen - I can only access them from the keypad.
Two that I know of offhand are the "return to vessel" when browsing the chart (so I always have to back out, hit menu, hit find ship); and a few of the autopilot engagement controls (don't remember exactly, I usually use the keypad key or the p70r from the lower helm just so I don't have to deal with it).
I just basically accepted it as an annoyance until I started using my a75 on my other boat, which seems to work better overall.
So, should the hybridtouch display and keypads be 100% redundant, or are they designed to avoid accidental touch controls? I figured if the touch lock was engaged, nothing would work - but this is a partial issue. The menu button, the mode selection on the home screen, and the data box drop downs all work fine.
I can try to capture a video if need be, but I figured I'd check if its a known issue first. I didn't have any luck searching.
Thanks

a/e/eS/gS-Series MFD not responding correctly to screen touches
The touchscreens of Raymarine's a/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs are designed to deliver superior performance within most operating conditions. However, should the reported problem occur when the e/eS/gS-Series MFD's screen is wet, then it is recommended that the e/eS/gS-Series MFD's buttons and UniController be used to interface with the e/eS/gS-Series MFD until drier conditions exist. Should an a-Series MFD be regularly used under wet conditions and the reported problem occur, then it would be recommended that the a-Series MFD be networked to a RMK-9 Remote Keyboard and that this keyboard then be used until drier conditions exist. Should the reported problem occur with an e/eS/gS-Series MFD and the MFD's screen is dry, then it is recommended that a Precision Touchscreen Alignment be performed as follows:
1) Press the HOME button
2) Using the UniControl, select SET-UP and then press the OK button
3) Using the UniControl, select MAINTENANCE and then press the OK button
4) Using the UniControl, select TOUCHSCREEN ALIGNMENT and then press the OK button
5) Using the UniControl, select MAINTENANCE and then press the OK button
6) Within the 4-point Touchscreen Alignment screen, force an alignment failure by touching the upper right hand corner of the screen each time you are prompted to touch the cross hairs
7) When Incorrect Touch is reported, select YES to perform the Precision Alignment procedure.
Should the problem persist thereafter, then it is recommended that the a/e/eS/gS-Series MFD be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.

Replacement drive belts for wheel pilots
Should the drive unit be fabricated from gray plastic, then the part number for the replacement drive belt is A18083. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing how to order parts for Raymarine products.
Should the drive unit be fabricated from black plastic, then replacement drive belts would no longer be available from Raymarine for the wheel pilot. However, at the time of this response, third party drive belts could still be sourced for these wheel pilots. Accordingly, it is recommended that the Internet be searched for suppliers using the key words "D169 Drive Belt".

DSM 400
Hi, I just spent a couple of hours on the phone with Raymarine support, elevated to level 2, and was told my DSM 400 sounder will not talk with my e165 MFD. This is a new boat to me, old owner says they worked together previously. Is this an absolute answer, no way to get these two kids to talk with each other? Is there any way to get just depth info to the MFD by adding a legacy fishfinder, then getting depth info to the MFD through the seatalk HS, or the seatalk NG?
System is e165 MFD with SeaTalk HS and SeaTalk NG inputs, 4kw HD radar to MFD via SeaTalk HS switch, RayStar GPS to MFD via SeaTalk NG, and DSM 400 is connected to the SeaTalk HS switch.
If this DSM 400 just won't talk to the e165, is there a newer sonar that will use the transducer (Airmar SS270w, 50kHz and 200kHz) I have installed? Thank you for any help or ideas to get my MFD to show the depth, I'm not a real fisherman, just want depth information.
