I am considering upgrading my LH2 e-Series system to LH3. Aside from the MFD's, the existing system also includes a SeatalkHS network switch linking radar and fishfinder and a SeatalkNG bus linking iTC-5, MFID's, VHF, GPS and a Mercruiser gateway.

Due to form factor considerations, I will probably be limited to the Axiom line (vs Pro or XL). I believe the upgrade could otherwise be accomplished by a simple swap-out of the MFD's but unfortunately I also need to maintain 2 channels of NMEA-0183 out to other equipment and 1 channel of NMEA-0183 in (all 4800 baud).

What equipment and/or setup would you recommend to implement this requirement?

Hello,

I am trying to set a shallow depth alarm at 10m.
Despite numerous attempts, pressing offset and reset simultaneously, I am not able to change the shallow alarm setting.

Changing the shallow anchor alarm by pressing offset and reset simultaneously is not a problem, but I am not able to select a shallow anchor alarm setting greater than 6.0m.

Hello,

I attended the Raymarine webinar this morning. Great stuff. Part of the seminar discussed the importance of updating the software on a regular basis.

I recall having a conversation with a Raymarine phone support rep where they indicated that for MFDs such as the gs-165 for example, updating from LH2 to LH3 will lead to loss of some features relating to radars and other aspects.

My MFD (gs-165) was purchased in late 2018 and I have stuck by the latest LH2 version 19.03 so far. I would like to upgrade but concerned about losing functions.

Is that still the case?

I have bought at AIS650 that I want to connect to my C140W MFD.
I took for granted that I could connect via my STNG-backbone.
But reading the MFD manual and threads here has left me confused!

Can I connect via STNG or will I have to use NMEA0183?
I have a E80 MFD connected also, will AIS info be shown there if connected via NMEA?

Hello,
I talked to you sometime ago about the problem that I was having tracking the bottom with my RV100 with the Axiom Pro 12 at higher speeds on my relatively long, flat bottom Aluminum boat. After going over all of the possible problems of mounting and placement of the transducer, Chuck suggested that I use an additional transducer, the P319. I just wanted to make sure that this was still the newest, latest, greatest transducer that you would suggest? Thank you.

I have a EV-100 autopilot with a P70s control head installed and intergrated to a Axiom MFD.

Is there a user selection input to change the auto tack function (+_1 +_10 buttons pushed together) value from 90 degrees to another value say between 90 and 100 degrees? If so what procedure is used to do this? If not so could this be a future software updates?

I single hand quite a bit and currently use the auto tack function quite a bit with additional a series of 1 or 10 degree adjustment all while attending to jib sheets etc.

Just purchased 12in and 9in axiom RV units. Currently running 3.11.42 software after updates. Package deal came with Lighthouse NC2 charts.
-Inserted card to the back of the unit
-powered unit up
-selected chart then setting.
-selected the lighthouse NC2 chart at bottom of screen
-now systems keep rebooting themselves multiple times while trying to display charts.
-System loads partial chart display, then continues to reboot itself over and over.
Please advise. Thanks

Is it possible to share charts from a C140W to a E80? If so what is required to do it?

If I obtain a C90W and connect it to the C140W via STNG will charts then be shared?

I have an SPX30 autopilot that uses an M81190 fluxgate compass and a p70 control head. I also have a Quantum I radar and e7 MFD. Can I upgrade the M81190 to a better heading sensor (EV-1?), and if so will that provide better performance of the autopilot and also the radar? thanks

Do I need the full E22158 converter kit or just the A06047 adapter cable?

Is there a way to move the position (Lat-Lomg) to the main page of charts on a Dragonfly-4?

I can go to the satellite page but it isn't very easy to find. This unit is on my dinghy.

The reason for the request and/or question is if I am in an emergency situation, I will need a quick way to view my position to the US Coast Guard.

I have purchased a 2006 vintage boat that was equipped with a Raymarine Ray215 VHF on the helm and a Rayvhf remote station in the salon with a Raymarine speaker with volume control. The previous owner replaced the Ray215 with a Ray55 VHF radio prior to me purchasing the boat and the older Rayvhf is not compatible. I have since purchased a Raymic A46051 with cable to install in the salon to replace the older unit.

1) Does this Raymic Remote station, A46051 hand set, require an external speaker.
2) Will the existing speaker work with the A46051 or do I need to exchange it with a passive speaker.
3) if the older speaker and the A46051 will not work, could you recommend a newer Raymarine speaker that will connect to the handset, with the two wires on the extension cable that came with the kit.

When I long hold on my chart the black box come up, but does not have autoroute to here option. I can select goto it makes a straight route. Then I can push on waypoint again black box come up I have option AutoRoute to select it and it builds the route. Then have touch straight route and push stop. Then I have to go to routes select that route and push Follow. Why am I not getting AutoRoute To Here option? thanks Dave

I have a new Axiom 9 and after my first day out I have a few things I could use help with.

Tracks - Do I read it right that the unit will only store 15 tracks? My old less sophisticated unit could save my tracks all summer. The tracks are very helpful when you navigate skinny water outside the channel.

Just installed axiom 9 and the recommended cpt100 dvs transducer. The connections are both male. Now I see there is an adapter you can buy. Is there a workaround. If I need to get the adapter I would have spent the little bit extra to get the RV 100. Where does the Ferrell go. Close to the end of the transducer cable or on the adapter cable closest to the display?

Hi
Can anyone confirm the AIS type in the Raymarine ray73 VHF radio, is it send and receive or receive only? The brochure quotes “built in receiver providing target data for plotter, radar and instruments”. Not very clear or me just being slow!

Hi, I'm looking at getting a used "Raymarine 4’ Open Array 4kW HD Radar" (photos attached) Aside from the array, pedestal, voltage converter and cable in the photos, what are my available displays that are compatible? Are there any other items needed to make this system operational? The only information given is the following: The sticker is all faded out where it should say, but looks E52069E model"

My M232 has a tendency to pickup both the bow railing and / or clouds as objects which sets off the audible alarms.
It would be very helpful to allow users to highlight areas within the image to ignore in order to make the object detection more useful.
