I did a check following your guide on my paddle wheel and had 4.6V on and off as we slowly turned the wheel. However we get 0.0 Kts readings on the multi display ST50. How can I test the ST50 or is the transducer faulty? Mine is an Airmar (ST800?)

radar not fonctionning correctly
I have a new radar RD418D plug on a ES97 MFD.
It work fine for a month, now nothing appear on the MFD radar screen except when i put the GAIN at 80 or above then the screen goes all blue and yellow.
I install the last upgrad sorftwar for the ES97 and it's still the same problem.
Help...

Connecting Multiple NMEA 0183 Devices
I have a question concerning NMEA 0183 connection to an e127/e125 MFD.
I am replacing my AIS650 Class B AIS with a non-Raymarine Class A AIS using NMEA 0183 ports.
My current system consists of 2 MFDs, an e127 (master) and an e125 (slave). The MFDs are connected together using a Raynet cable (ELTR1964) and the network ports on the MFDs. The master is connected to a SeaTalk(ng) network via 5 way connectors properly terminated, and the slave is connected to a SeaTalk HS network switch (HS5).
The 0183 input ports on the master are connected to the DSC VHF Radio (icom M-506) and the heading sensor (KVH Autocomp 1000). The existing AIS650 is connected via SeaTalk(ng). (see attached photo)
I plan to leave in place but disconnect the AIS650. Using the existing gps receiver and AIS VHF Antenna, I'd like to connect the new AIS using the unused NMEA 0183 bi-directional (Tx and Rx) port on the e125 (slave) MFD. Reminder, all NMEA 0183 on the slave are currently unused.
The new AIS is a L3 Communications Protect-M.
Does this sound like the best or at least a workable configuration?

e7d not retaining bearing mode configuration setting

In system preferences, i set it to magnetic. When next powered up it had switched back to true. Has done this twice. Why?

When in split screen of chart and radar, how do you switch to one or the other being active using only buttons and knobs. No touch screen. My instructions say there is a sub menu called cycle app. I dont have such. When i hold menu button it goes back to home and exits split screen. Disp ver 16.47

CP470 bottom tracking Issue
I've got an odd problem with my fish finder that I can't figure out, might just be a setting I'm missing or maybe something technically wrong it, tried everything I can think of. See attached picture. It was installed this spring and I'm still trying to figure out all the settings. While I'm offshore 1000+ ft and have the fish finder set to 300ft it occasionally moves up the bottom like a ran over something completely solid .. not even a initial mark or anything. I don't think it's a bait ball since it is just a perfect square. I have an Airmar A00013, 1kW Chirp transducer that is mounted on the transom. Not going fast either just 6kt. It does the same on the high Chirp channel as well. The MFD version is 17.45 and I believe the CP470 has the latest software in it as well. Anyone seen anything like this before?

Ray49 VHF
I have a Ray 49 VHf radio which stopped transmitting and receiving. It does turn on and i do get the TX in the upper left corner with shows it transmitting but i get no response . Id like to replace it with another Ray49 but can seem to find one. Is there a new model with the same dimensions or should i go and have it checked.

Software update
You always state that the first problem solving step is to be sure you're at the latest Lighthouse software update. From what i can discern, ver.17 has no features that I'm interested in. Hopefully, dock-dock autorouting does not feed the pilot. But thats another story. If Im not interested, is there still any reason to update? Are there suble enhancements not advertised?

No satellite data and STLK Fail message on auto pilot
Good morning,
A couple of weeks ago, I lost satellite data on my C80 and the message STLK fail appeared on my Auto Pilot (ST6001). I contacted Raymarine support and was told to change the battery and update the software on the C80.
Since then, I have:
- Changed the battery in the C125 for a NC battery
- Re-secured all my connections
- Removed the C80 from my boat and installed it on a friends boat who as a set up similar to mine. On his boat, I did get satellite signals.
- I ordered a new C125 thinking that it my unit was the defective device. Installed yesterday, no change. Still no satellite signals and STLK Fail on my auto Pilot.
Prior to changing the batttery in the C125, the entire line on menu/GPS(I believe) was not accesible. Since changing the battery, the ON is light up and everything else is dark. I can not reset the antena.
The next step I plan on trying is to change the entire cable coming from the GPS antena and going to the C80.
If anyone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

SR100 connection to Es75
I just purchased a new Es75 MFD and have a SR100 that I would like to connect. I have Seatalk instruments and interfaced them with a SeaTalk one to SeaTalkng converter. The SR100 is ST hs. What is needed to make the connection and get weather and sat radio?

I have a C80 radar that I can't switch on. I am unable to see the usual Radar TX/Stdby or Scanner On/Off buttons as they are 'greyed out'.

E120 digital radome addition
The E120 installed in a 2009 boat never had radar, only DSM300 sonar and GPS (presumably RS125). Am I correct that a RD418D or RD418HD digital radome can be installed with the addition of a Seatalk HS switch which the DSM 300 will also be attached to? If so what is the part number of the Seatalk switch. If not what is the recommendation. Thank you.

E120 upgrade
As I glanced at the flat rate repair schedule I see that the E120 is not listed for repair. What upgrade model would cover the existing cutout? What 18" radome is recommended? Is a Seatalk HS switch required for sharing DSM300 connection or is there enough ports on the upgrade unit? Thank you.

replacing the radome enclosure
My 18" digital radar scanner had an unfortunate encounter with a bridge. the plastic case was broken, but the internal parts were not damaged. The unit still works correctly. I repaired the case, but would like to replace it. How do I order a new case for the unit. I have had no success trying to find out via phone.

Conversion from Simrad to Raymarine
I currently have an older Simrad AP11 autopilot on a hydraulically steered inboard. The controller is getting hard to read so I am wondering if I could change out the electronics to a Raymarine unit andkeep the Simrad hydraulic pump.

Auto pilot not following route!
After setting up a route with my new "Auto Routing" feature I am having a problem instructing my "Auto Pilot" to lock onto the route. Every time I tell it to "Follow Route" it wants to turn 180 degrees. If I then tell it to reverse and follow it also turns 180 degrees. My route is showing along with my way points.
Would you please give me some instructions on how to pick up a route with my 'Auto Pilot" when you are directly on the route on the chart plotter screen.
I have a GS-165. All of my components, including my auto pilot, have been updated and calibrated properly. My compass is dead on. If I just put it in auto pilot it tracks perfectly straight.

connecting analog cams to an e78
HI,
I would like some help in connecting an set of analog cams to my new e78 display. I have the e78, set up and running, and now just got the cable to connect to my cam. Once I connect, how do I:
1- set up the camera to show on the display
2- make the "home screen" show the camera and perhaps a chart at the same time?
(split screen or child screen??)

hello
swoped out a failing dsm300 for cp370. system has e140w touch screens. the cp370 was an easy plug in install and works fine in manual mode but not in auto. i have updated the software on the e140w and still no change. the screen has too much noise, meaning a lot of vertical lines on it when in auto, but in manual i can dial it in no problem
any thoughts or advice?
