[CA11] Upgrading my A70D
I have the following equipment on the sailboat that I recently purchased:

ST40 Wind Instrument
S1 Wheel Pilot-Smart Pilot Series
ST6002 Smart Pilot Controller
DSM25 Sounder module
I would like to update the A70 to a plotter with marina to marina capability and was wondering if that is possible without replacing the auto pilot and wind instrument? If yes could you recommend an updated plotter?

[CA11] HD418 Color software version?
I just upgraded our a75 MFD software to v19.03. The HD418 color didn't upgrade and is running v4.27. Is that the current version? If it isn't, could you provide me a link to the software update for it?

[CA11] Flir Camera and Lighthouse 3 software
I have been struggling to get my Flir N237BE PoE camera to connect to my Axiom system consisting of Axiom 16 RVX Pro, Axiom 12 and Axiom 7. My master display, the Axiom 16, would not recognize the camera nor would the axiom 7. I have finally been able to have the camera recognized by the Axiom 12. I can view the camera on the Axiom 12 but the other two units just show a back screen. The only difference is the software. Axiom 12 is 3.9x and the other two are the most current 3.10x.
Is my issue that the new software does not recognize the camera? if so how can i revert the other two units to 3.9x software? All the new features of the 3.10 software are not relevant to me anyways.

If I have multiple p/n updates, can I copy all those files to one card and let the system sort it all out? Axiom, new evolution wheel pilot and control, ST converter, existing AIS 650, existing HD radar. Or, does it need to be one at a time? Tnx

[CA11] Depth finder vs fishfinder
I have a transducer connected to an autohelm tridata. I’ve started to lose bottom in anything over 30 feet. The hull was recently scraped so I believe the transducer is going bad.
Question: are there any depth reading/navigational/anchoring benefits of a fishfinder vs just replacing the transducer. I don’t really need for fishing.

[CA11] Axiom 12 cannot connect to WiFi
I have an Axiom 12 currently running LH3 Bermuda. When I first purchased it, I could connect to my home WiFi network and do upgrades but since the update just prior to Annapolis, I can no longer connect. My network is visible, I enter the password and after 30 seconds I get a "Connection Failure" message.
Wifi Router - Cisco E4200 2.4g
Pvt IP Range 192.168.x.x
I have selected "Forget" and re-typed the password many times, each time verifying it was correct. All my other phones and tablets work ok. I have at least 20 IP leases available.
Nothing on my end has changed, only the version of Lighthouse.
Is there a console that would allow me to see verbose Network msgs?

[LW11] St4000+ Identity crisis
My st4000+ starts up as a wheel autopilot.
When i go to the dealer setup i manually change it into Till and save this setting...all is fine.
BUT...when i switch off and start up again , the st4000+ thinks she is a wheel autopilot again.
So....how can i change it forever in a st 4000+ TILL?

[CA11] Can Axiom Pro Knob/Buttons Control Multiple MFDs?
The RMK-10 be networked with Axiom MFD’s on RayNet to control multiple Axiom MFD’s. But the Axiom Pro units have these same controls built in. So, if you were to connect an Axiom Pro and an Axiom via RayNet, could you use the Axiom Pro’s buttons/knob to control BOTH the Axiom Pro and the networked Axiom MFD’s in the same way you could if you networked an RMK-10? That is, could the Axiom Pro’s controls be used to also control the networked Axiom?

[CA11] Axiom Dashboard Fuel Display
Hello Currently running the new version, 3.10.71. I am having a problem on the Dashboard Tanks page where the graphical gauge in the upper right corner will not show correct fuel level. I am assuming that this is due to instancing, as I have read other posts, and see that my tanks are tank 0 and tank 3 that show proper usage. Is there a way to define what instance's data populates that gauge?

In the process of upgrading to LH3, I thought I had backed up all my waypoints, settings etc... But it appears as though my tracks did not copy across to the microSD. Any thoughts?

[CA11] E140\W chart plotter wit AIS500 and GPS not initializing
Hello,
I have a E140W with an AIS 500 and GPS signal that are intermittently not initializing when powered up.
I have powered down and up several times to get it to initialize and let it set and waited 15 minutes for it initialize.
90% of the time everything initializes within a minute or two.
Is there a bigger problem brewing or is this normal.
How do I troubleshoot once I get it stuck in an initialized state?

[DG11] ST6001 in the arctic
I am planning to sail through the arctic next year. I have heard that the ST6001 using a flux gate compass is not reliable at high latitudes due primarily to the general problems with compasses up there, so really it’s the full gate compass which will be he problem.
I am therefore looking for information on operation of the system at high latitudes, in particular wanting to know if there is an alternative to the flux gate (gps heading sensor?) that I can install to provide simple autopilot (go straight) control.

[CA11] 2004 Mainship Pilot 34 Rum Runner Axiom 9
I have an Axiom 9, a Raymarine new vhf, and a 300 navigator along with a new AIS700. I have not connected the gps since I have a gps position that is recognized by the axiom, the vhf, and the 300 over a seatalk ng network. I connected the AIS 700 to the seatalk network and thought that it would regognize the position like the other instruments. If i connect the gps to the AIS700 can I avoid two different gps positions? how??

I have a 1996 Beneteau 400. The Raymarine ST6000. Did wonderful just failed. Probably time to upgrade. Boat weight 25000 lbs. Which Autopilot should I upgrade to with budget less than $2000. Any suggestions ?

My present system consist from Autopilot, E97 and CP470. I both AXIOM and tried to connect it to system with main goal to share CP470. Unfortunately I was unable to networked everything. At the moment I split system so one one system I have Autopilot and E97 and other one is AXIOM and CP470. I am planning to purchase another AXIOM in order to have all hardware in network. Since my main goal is to share CP470, example. one screen Low frequency and another one High at the same time. Am I able to have this kind of configuration once I have both Axioms properly networked?

A few questions about how the Lighthouse 3.x software treats overlaying objects on the display. The basis of the questions is how an E classic display treats overlaying objects.
For an E classic display, imagine a situation where the COG vector, heading vector, wind vector and current vector are displayed. And now an AIS target of interest overlays any of the vectors. If the cursor is moved to highlight the AIS target, the plotter places a priority of popping a label box to denote the overlaying vector object, for example, the box “COG” appears for the COG vector. It is impossible to select the AIS target until the overlap no longer exists, rather annoying as the user knows what the vector is, what’s of interest is the AIS target and its detailed data.
Is this same behavior also true with the current Lighthouse 3.x software? If so, any suggestions about how to work around this behavior?

GS125 Footprint to Axiom
Are any of the new Axiom units able to “fit” into the spot of a GS125? I have 2 gs125’s installed and would like to move up to at least one axiom without having to re-make my entire dash. Does raymarine make any adapter plates if none of the new axiom’s are a close fit?
