Hi. The date shown on the satellite fix page is off by one day. Tried fixing this using GMT time offset (i.e. going ahead 24 hours minus 4 hours from GMT to EDT), but offset is plus/minus 13 hours max. How do I fix date?

Several online sites (Defender, for example) have this transducer for sale, and there are two versions commonly shown:
Part no. A66092
Transducer AND high speed fairing
"Compatible with DSM300, DSM30 and CP300"

Just the transducer
"Compatible with ST40, i40, ST60+, i50, ST290, ST70* and i70*"
Are they different, electrically? Or is the difference in compatibility only because those would be the instruments commonly used (low speed vs. high speed)? Or...?
(I have an i40 BiData, and want to know if I can buy the A66092 and stand a chance of it working correctly. It's available from one source at a discount, whereas the A26044 is not.)

[CA11] AIS700: Read NMEA data on Computer

I tried to connect the NMEA HI OUT of my AIS700 to my computer using a RS232 to USB converter. It works so far that I do get some characters on my PC (I'm using Linux), but unfortunately it's all garbled, mostly unprintable characters (see attatchment). I tried changing the baud rate and any other option, but the text remains garbled. The only difference I get is faster garbled text with higher baud rates :( I even tried another RS323 to USB adapter, no luck.
Unfortunately I don't have any other device with an NMEA-out to try, I only have a USB-GPS-dongle (which works fine).
Has anyone had any luck doing this?

[CA11] RD418D stop working / context number
My brand new RD418D (model E92129) stop working after two months. It was working great till last week.
It warms up ok. Then it sweeps onces and it goes black. After reading some posts on the forum the general suggestion is to check voltage on dome and wire continuity.
Before I do that I would like to know the meaning of the context number that shows during the warm up pop up window and on the radar display. It shows on the MDF next to the range box. May be the radar is telling me what is wrong and I can't understand it. I'm going to try to post a pic with the number inside red ovals.
I've seen different values and letters, but note that I have a negative value on this box now. What is this number?
Any help beside checking voltage, cable, disconnect and reconnect the radar?

[CA11] Axiom 9 Databar
Hi, I currently have an A78, setup with the data bar along the top containing Engine Data (NMEA) so it is permanently Visible, as i do not run engine gauges.
Is this feature Avalible on the Axiom, as it appears from reading the manual it is not an option?
Also i note that the dashboard app can only be displayed as half or full screen, Is this likely to change?

For maximum VHF radio performance, it is recommended that a dedicated VHF antenna be used for each fixed mount VHF radio. However, should the vessel's design not permit an additional VHF antenna(s) then it is strongly recommended that a third party automatic two-way antenna selector (ex. Shakespeare AS-2, etc.) be installed to support using a single VHF antenna with two VHF radios to prevent damage to the receiver circuitry of the VHF radios.

[CA11] EV-1/ACU 200/P70R - worked fine last season, now won't hold heading
I installed a new ACU 200 w/EV-1 and P70R, connected with new Garmin 7610 XSV with 18xhd radar on my 2004 28' Scout 280 Abaco last year, and it worked flawlessly all last summer. I launched my boat last weekend, and everything works, but the AP won't hold heading. At first, it held heading ok at headway speed, but once I got up on plane, it oscillated back and forth, getting worse if I didn't hit standby. Now it won't hold heading at all, at any speed. I tried re calibrating, went through the setup process again, and it's not getting any better. I did have to add a little steering fluid when I first launched, but seems like the steering is tight now with very little play, so not sure if that is causing any issues or not.
Hoping this is something simple, as again, it worked perfectly last year, and I haven't made any changes that I'd think would impact the AP from working properly.

Hello everyone!
Our Dufour is equipped with an oldish Raymarine system that works like a charm except for the fact that there is no AIS. The system includes RL80C, radar, ST40 wind, ST40 bidata, ST6001+ smart pilot, 150G AST course computer, standard Fluxgate compass.
The RL80C is too old for AIS so my thinking is to replace the RL80C with another less old MFD, e.g. C120 or E120, that can overlay AIS. My questions are:
1) Can the C120 or E120 interface with, for example, the new AIS700?
2) Can the C120 or E120 interface with the old Seatalk system, e.g. run the auto pilot that requires bidirectional data transfers, not only reading?
I know my radar could be too old for both C120 and E120, but thats an easy fix.
The Axiom and Quantum 2 is of course tempting but can unfortunately not run the auto pilot without T70155, i.e. a complete rebuild…

[CA11] no image on downscan on the pro7
The pro 7 is new to me and new to the boat. As you can see my sonar works but I cant get brush pile images on my downscan. Even at higher speeds I do not lose bottom lock on the sonar but can never see trees and brush piles. I tried adjusting gain and contrast etc.... but still no luck. Sometimes I will see the bottom on the downscan but never a good pic like the tutorials or demo mode then it goes away.
Suggestions ??

[TG11] Installation of EV 100 with older ST60+ depth and speed instruments
I have purchased a new EV100 autopilot system to replace an older Raymarine autopilot. Two years ago I added an i60 wind pack.
With the installation of the new EV100 system (EV1 and ACU), I plan on rewiring all of the instruments to ensure wiring is updated and compatible. Essentially this means using a new Sea Talk backbone and connecting all of the instruments to the backbone. The EV1 and ACU installation document contains a great diagram on page 18 showing the connection I plan on using.
My question however is whether I can simply connect the older ST60+ instruments to the backbone as shown in the diagram on page 18, or whether I need to connect the older instruments as shown on page 26 of the p70 and p70R installation manual? At present, the older ST60+ instruments are connected to each other as shown on page 26 of the p70 manual. However, this page 26 reference seems to apply to a different system as the course computer supplies the power to the instruments whereas the new EV100 information specifically says the ACU does NOT supply the power to the other instruments and that there has to be separate power to the instruments and the ACU. This would seem to imply therefore that I should follow page 18 of the EV1 and ACU installation manual.
If all works out, I hope the new EV100 will interface with the i60 wind pack so that the autopilot will work under wind direction using the i60.

[CA11] Axiom Pro 12 - Navionics Platinum plus issue
I have an Axiom 12 and an Axiom Pro 12. The pro 12 has a Navionics Platinum plus Micro SD card in the lower slot. The first 3 trips of the year, the system worked Great. On Friday, every time I selected my chart, the Pro 12 would reboot. The axiom 12 would even reboot if I selected the chart. When I remove the SD card, the system will go to the chart without rebooting. While on the chart, I can insert the sd card and it will show all of the features of the Navionics platinum plus card. The Axiom will go to the chart, but will not pull up the Navionics data.
Like I said, it worked perfectly the first 3 trips of the year. What could be the problem?

[CA11] Evolution rudder limit
Because of a unique rudder setup on my boat I need to be able to limit the amount of rudder angle the AP will apply. Currently I have it manually set to the lowest value - 10 degrees. I'd like to be able to set that value lower, to 7 or 8 degrees in my case.

[CA11] Axiom 7 - network error - SPx5
I'm in process of adding a new Axiom7 to my boat, however when I go to add transducers to the Axiom it displays the error "Manually selecting source of Depth is not supported while the following devices are on the network: SPx5 S/N: 0000000." My autopilot is an SPx5 with a p70 head - I'm able to update the firmware on the Axiom, on the p70, and on my i70 to make sure they are all up to date - however - I'm guessing the SPx5 also requires an update? Is this the cause of my error? Is there a way for me to update?

[CA11] C80/ DSM-300 Software Update Issues
C80 classic display with DSM-300, I was upgrading to V5.16 and everything was fine until I pressed reboot which resulted in the blue screen. I turned off the power, restarted and it turned on fine showing 5.16 version at startup. Will the upgrade work fine? It seemed to function fine on the trailer and I haven’t tried it on the water yet.
I tried to upgrade the software on the DSM 300 to 4.20. I tried to select bootloader 5.18 using the down arrow and got the blue screen again. Shut off, restarted and was able to use the up arrow to finally select bootloader, but it hung up at 50% and showed failed (exactly how the instructions stated in a note but didn't say that it would be fine or what to do). So I continued not knowing if the bootloader was installed and proceeded to install 4.20 where I would get the error message of failed to install. What should I try? Or just ignore the upgrade? (I’m using the installed cable for install unless I need another cable)
FYI, the compact flash card is 512 mb and I can archive and retrieve my waypoints fine.

[CA11] wide path recored on chart
I just installed an es128 chart/fishfinder running Lighthouse 3 software with Navionics chart.
It is showing a wide path behind the boat on the chart (see attachment). I have tracking off and tried track delete without success.
I included a screen shot of the problem. How do I correct it?

[CA11] C80 Distorted Glass
The glass n my C80 is distorted. It appears to have a multi colored film on it. Can the glass be replaced? Is it something I ca do, or should it be sent back to the factory.
