I have/had an ST 4000 wheel pilot. During a move the compass and power head got misplaced. WHat can I use to power and control the drive? HJ

E7D Plug Spicing
I am installing an E7D in a Navpod on a 1" binacle guard. There are two plugs on the end of the power cord for the E7D. One is the 7amp fuse holder and the other is the video input plug. Both of these are too large to fit through the binacle guard 7/8inch [censored] and make a 90 degree turn down the guard. Can these plugs be cut and spliced to get the power cord through the binacle guard?

Powering a MFD
I have an a95 mfd, home for the winter, off the boat. Is there a cable available to power it at home? I'd like to do the updates and refamiliarize myself before we splash for the summer.

Internal MFD GPS Availability to Other Devices
I have an e7 MFD which has an internal GPS. I'm connecting my autopilot system (P70, ACU100, ev1) to the MFD via STng. Will my autopilot be able to access the MFD's internal GPS if the MFD is turned OFF or will I have to energize both systems to be able to use autopilot?

I50 True Wind Shows ---
I have: I60 wind, I50 depth and speed, E7 MFD, ST5000+ autopilot ,a 22158 converter and a SH GX2150 linked to the E7 via NMEA.
The converter has from left to right, 1. Blank, 2. Sea Talk cable to 160 and thence the two I50s, .3. Autopilot Sea Talk cable, 4. Power supply, 5. Sea Talk ng cable to E7.
I can always see Ground Wind on the E7 when the I60 shows --- for True Wind. Today True Wind was not showing on the I60 and I was pushing the “Display” button to cycle through the options. At one point it froze for about 20l seconds and then came back and True Wind was showing.
How can I diagnose this problem?

GPS to Loran postion format??
Any chance this conversion option can be added back? I just purchased both the A98 and C97 and a little bummed this isn't available. Us Great Lakes guys still use Loran numbers a lot when fishing and without this I'll have to keep an old Garmin unit mounted also.

mounting : S100 REMOTE Cradles
This seems unique, so I'm trying a new thread.
The plastic cradle for the S100 REMOTE Controller broke into too six pieces when I removed it to give a command.
After three seasons in the outdoors the plastic got fragile/ brittle/ inflexible and w/o warning shattered.
Question: who can I contact to get a replacement? The local dealers are no help unless I by the $600 controller in a box.
The remote's size and shape make it impossible to secure in a VHF or similar speaker cradle. It still on warranty by a few weeks when it broke, but they say just epoxy it together. There are to many pieces to do that.

eSeries chart plotter
How is it possible to save measurement choice in customisation of the Navionics chart on the eSeries plotter? I wish to have measurements shown in NM and meters (NM & m) which is possible from - Home Screen- Customise-Units set up-NM & m. However, after power down, the unit always defaults to NM and feet. How can the choice be saved?

What versions of software installed within my Raymarine products?
Each time that a Raymarine a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD is powered ON, a Limitations of Use message is displayed and must be acknowledged by the operator before being able to proceed with use of the product. In older Raymarine MFDs, Chartplotters, and GPS Displays, a Navigational Warning message is displayed and must be acknowledged by the operator before being able to proceed with use of the product. In the lower right hand corner of the message, the currently installed version of software for that product will be displayed.
Should an a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD be powered ON and the Limitations of Use dialog have already been acknowledged, then the user may also access information concerning the currently installed version of a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD software via the following command sequence: HOME->SET-UP->MAINTENANCE->DIAGNOSTICS->SELECT DEVICE. Should all of the system's equipment be powered ON and this same command sequence be executed on the system's Data Master MFD, then the MFD will list each of the devices which have been interfaced via Ethernet (SeaTalkhs/RayNet) or SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 to the system. This list will also include the version of software installed within each Ethernet or SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 device. More detailed product information may be displayed by selecting the SHOW ALL option from the Select Device list.

Raymarine's latest generation of Multifunction Instrument Displays (i70) and Autopilot Control Heads (p70, p70R) are designed to list devices (MENU->SET-UP->SELECT->DIAGNOSTICS->SELECT->ABOUT SYSTEM->SELECT->CONTINUE) which have been interfaced to the SeaTalkng/NMEA 2000 backbone and report the report the respective version of software each device device (Select/highlight device within displayed Devices List->SELECT).
Raymarine's a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs were designed to be updated using commonly available microSD memory cards. The maximum size a microSD memory cards which may be used with Raymarine's a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs is 32GB. Raymarine's C/E-Series Widescreen MFDs were designed to be updated using commonly available CF memory cards. The maximum size a microSD memory cards which may be used with Raymarine's C/E-Series Widescreen MFDs is likewise 32GB. Raymarine's A/C/E-Series Classic MFDs were designed to be updated using CF memory cards which had been commonly available when these products were manufactured. The maximum size a microSD memory cards for updating these MFD is 128MB. However, should one not already possess a CF memory card which have proven compatible in previously updating one's A/C/E-Series Classic MFD, then it is STRONGLY recommended that Radar Marine (360.733.2012) be contacted to order a CF memory card and to request that that CF memory card be populated with the latest software for the MFD that is owned. Until recently, MFD and Chartplotting products introduced prior to the C-Series Classic MFDs (2003) could be updated by Raymarine's Product Repair Center ... this service is no longer available for these long retired products.
Most Raymarine products featuring an Ethernet or SeaTalkng interface are designed to be updated via the system's Data Master a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD, Data Master C/E-Series Widescreen MFD, or Data Master E-Series Classic MFD. With the exception of SR50 Sirius Satellite Weather/Radio Receivers, the C-Series Classic MFDs cannot update the software of any other products. Wind Vane
I have purchased an ES127, still in the box. I am installing a radar, and I am thinking of adding a wind vane E22078 while the mast is down on my trawler. Can I connect this directly to the backbone or do I need a ITC-5 or I40 instrument or something else?

Companion MFDs
My main MFD is an E95. I just purchased an ES75 and have connected it to the E95 via a raytec cable. All data, waypoints, etc from the E95 are displayed on the ES75. However, I thought my Navionics charts would transfer as well but they do not. I assume I need to purchase similar Navionics charts for the ES75?
Here is a what if: What if I purchased C-map charts for the ES75. Would the waypoints from the E95 still transfer? Would there be any problems having two different chart packages on the two units?

Wheel Drive Power Cord
The Wheel drive power cord for my EV-100 system comes with a blue wire and orange wire with two connectors. These connectors do not mate with the ACU-100 unit.
1) Will it void my warranty if I cut off these connectors and insert the bare ends into the ACU-100?
2) Which one is the positive wire, the blue or orange?

ST 5000 updrade to EV 100 T70154
Can I change out the ST 5000 unit install the new P70R, ACU and EV-1 Sensor and use my old drive unit? My new EV 100 T70154 was delivered yesterday.
I have a 24' workaround with a 225 hp Yamaha outboard.
I have ST 5000 in good working condition with a rudder reference replaced last season.
I have RL70CRC. I do not use the autopilot to steer courses. Its sole purpose is 2.0 mph trolling to a set course heading.

Some merchants (or Raymarine?) bundle the Dragonfly 7 Pro with Navionics+ mapping.
Is it:
- the full Navionics+, as would be, if purchased sepaarately?
- some variant requiring an upadte from day one, or only good for a period of time?

How to get engine data to my E7D?
Hello,
I was wondering if someone can tell me what cable(s) I need to get my Raymarine E7D to display engine data from my 2011 Yamaha F250. I have the Raymarine Seatalk NG Starter Kit, so would I just need the Raymarine Yamaha Command Link cable or will I need the Raymarine ECI-100 as well and/or anything else? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Change smart controller and base
Greetings,
I am starting to have trouble with my smart controller in my tower.
I have decided I really don't need a remote type controller in the tower.
I would like to replace the smart controller with a fixed controller head.
Are there wires from the main helm? The battery has been dead for a while but the unit still works when plugged in.
What is the most reasonable way to proceed.
