I bought a boat with an E120 Classic and I cannot get the backlight strong enough, in DAYTIME MODE to see the screen well.

Can someone help me please? I am in Curacao, Netherland Antilles so it is not easy to get stuff repaired here. This unit has been used very lightly and if I cannot get it repaired, I will need to go through a whole lot of expenses to update a fairly recent system.

I always had Raymarine products on my boats...

Please let me know what is next.

I have an i60 and I only get 3 dashes for true wind. I have recently replaced the mast head transducer and the cable and also the tri data transducer (depth, speed and water temp).
My apparent wind is working find as is my tri data. My auto pilot also appears to be working and reads a heading and will engage. My understanding is that the true win is a calculation that requires both speed and heading, I currently appear to have both. Additionally I have a C95 and non Raymarine AIS also on the network.
My auto pilot is an ST6000. Up until very recently the whole system worked and I haven't done any work on it since then. All of a sudden it just started not reading out true wind. Is there a detail troubleshooting procedure for that issue or more details on how I can confirm I am getting good data from both the tri data and the autopilot to the wind unit? As they both read out fine on their own displays I thought they might be working. I have attached a diagram of the over all system. I could send the wind unit to get bench tested, but I would prefer to identify the problem on my end if possible as it could be either the auto pilot or the tri data. As the auto pilot is pretty old my worry would be that one as the wind unit is only a few years old and I just replaced the tri data transducer.

I have a digital 4K radome connected through seatalk hs to two E120 (2008) and the radar was constantly shutting down and giving me “no data source” or another error like no array (can’t remember the exact error message) and then would restart the warmup process and the crash right after I turned it to transmit. So I put the vessel on shore power charged up the batteries and even replaced them, and still the same issue. Checked all the connections and voltage and everything was up to spec. I was messing with the settings and changed the gain to auto and put in harbor mode from offshore and it be became stable. I used for a few days and no issues. I went out fishing last night and changed to offshore and it started crashing and rebooting. I then changed the gain back to harbor mode and it ran fine... so I am at a loss where the gremlin is on this? I am also not convinced running it in harbor mode is the answer or that it will not show up there at some point.

Any thoughts?

just noticed a new update for dragonfly 5 and they mentioned a new 20degree transducer - CPT-S-DF-20 , #A80545
but can not find any info on it.
can anyone tell me how and what it is and is it for the dragonfly series???

I installed the depth, speed, temp DST800 in March 2017. Boat was back in the water Late June 2017 and has remained so since. When I'm not sailing I remove the transducer and insert the blank. When I sail, 2 days a week, I take out the blank and insert the transducer - in SF Bay leaving the transducer in will see it clog up with critters in no time (less than a week). Removing the transducer and blank have been effortless with very little water ingress. Friday I went sailing - going out for a couple of days- at dock I tried to remove the blank to insert the transducer and the blank was really difficult to take out - when it did come out water really gushed up. Putting in the transducer was difficult too - it did t seem to want to seat correctly and water kept oozing in. I re-set it in the [censored] twice and finally water stopped and all was good. Sunday I removed the transducer- came out easy- but water just gushed in again as if the flapper was not there. Without hauling the boat to check is there a way to see what's happening down there?

Hi, Is the EV-150 auto pilot available in a system without the hydraulic pump? I have an old Autohelm 6000 that I'm replacing and the pump is good, rated as a Type 1.

The boat is 32', Inboard diesel, 12 knot traditional Chesapeake deadrise that operates on 12 volt, I'm sure I can use the EV-150 but can't find order info for the corepack (ACU, Cable Kit, Sensor) I use a E7D MFD

I have a question regarding the current compatibility of the C120 Classic and the latest ACU200/EV1/P70s bundle.
From my interpretation from another post, it is my understanding that Version R4 has eliminated the ability to use a SeatalkNG/Seatalk converter for integration of an Evolution Autopilot with a C120, is this interpretation correct?
The post indicated a downgrade in software version would be required until a fix had been made in the next software version, however I do not see any revision reflecting this in the software history as of today?

Also, I noticed it seems like software upgrade/downgrade of an evolution autopilot via a C120 has been made unavailable. Does this mean that any upgrade/downgrade on this autopilot would need to be done with a different MFD?

Adding AIS 650 to new Axiom Network.

All other components tied into switch.

AIS networked via N2K: Can it go straight across 2 MFD's via the MFD spur cables to a backbone w T connector?

Or does it have to go to a STng Hub and network in with the MFDs at that point?

I bought a used a S1G course computer to replace my ST 5000. It worked fine for about 6 months. Now I get intermittent "RG FAIL" at times whether I'm going to slow or fast. I will also get a hard to port "Crazy Ivan" with no warning, quite often. Other times the compass reading on my 8002 control head seems to continuously hunt going clockwise around the whole compass jumping 20 degrees or so, all the way around, 360 degrees and keeps going and never finds the correct direction. However, all of these are corrected by turning the unit off and then back on, but never holds true for my than about 15 to 25 minutes. I've done all the calibration settings in the manual. The fluxgate compass passed all the tests, so did the rudder sensor. I notice there are many different versions of software out there. Can I upgrade my software myself? Is it still available? Would interfacing the S1G with GPS help? I do nothing fancy with my autopilot. All I want to do is troll or cruise in a straight line. I would assume that Raymarine no longer services these units? Any help that anyone could give me would be wonderful. Thank you in advance! Paul.

I have a customer here with a pretty complicated system of sailing instruments and autopilot currently integrated with a pair of E120's. We would like to upgrade the displays to axiom units and a newer radar dome.

His current sailing inst are:
B&G H3000 units (several) with CPU.
Raymarine 0183 Multiplexer
Simrad AC42 autopilot brain

Is this system going to work with 2 new Axiom displays and dome? We don't need autopilot control on the displays but other info like depth/speed/wind etc would be handy.

Hello,
I am upgrading from aa RL70C pathfinder radar/plotter to a C97. I will be installing the seatalk to seatalkng interface for compatibility with my ST60 instruments.
Is it possible to replace the ST60 transducers with a tri-transducer that doesn’t have the paddle wheel for speed/log or would I need to replace the ST60 completely?

I understand that Lighthouse 3 will be ready sometime this November. Will my E 128 be able to use this upgrade and if so will we be able to steam the display to the TV's on the Vessel by way of a Fire Stick or some other WI FI -USB device?

Hi I have an Axiom 9 with RV-100 transducer with 3D imaging / Side image / down scan etc. latest software updated
I have noticed that my side imaging does not appear to scan at 180 Degrees as it is advertised, is there a setting to change this scan angle? It appears that I am seeing images that are picked up in my down imaging 60 deg. cone but not much outside that. For example when I drove past pilings for a bridge in 30-40 ft of water and I was about 8 ft from the pilings the scan only showed the bottom 2/3 of the pilings, and it didn't show the pilings on the other side that were about 50 ft away. I have attached a screen shot of what I am seeing. The transducer is mounted with a clear 180 Deg. view from it's mounting position, photo attached. The 2nd transducer is for a Dragonfly but it was turned off during this scan. I also noticed that as I got closer to the bridge pilings they would appear closer to the top of the scan view, but if this is truly 180 deg. scanning that shouldn't happen right?

I have a Ray240 with a loud hailer, however I am having trouble figuring out how to make it work.

The hailer shows up in the menu item, and it gives me options for the hailer and foghorn. Yet no sounds comes out of the speaker.

Any suggestions?

The main control knob on the top of my eS128 will not function properly when I rotate the knob. Maybe only 1 click out of 15 will result in the proper operation. Any easy way to fix this?

I need to replace an AIS500 with a AIS650 as I was told they cannot be repaired at the moment due to parts shortages.
The question concerns the re-use of the GPS antenna that was installed with the AIS500, can this be used with the newer AIS650 without the need for replacement?

I noticed the newer AIS650's have 50 Channel and the AIS500 had 16 Channel receiver capability. I am assuming however that because the antenna is passive this improvement is due to the improved receiver in the AIS unit, nothing to do with the antenna itself. Is this correct?

I just want to make sure it's the correct decision re-using the antenna if it's possible.

Have older network tied together w SeaTalkHS ethernet switch (8 RJ45 Ports)

I am getting new Axiom MFD's and Digital Radar. I am maintaining my CP370 ad transducer and SMartPilot.

Can I just buy Raynet to RJ45 adapter cables and plug all the new MFD's and Radar into the Seatalk HS switch?

Or do I have to upgrade to the newer HS5 Switch?

Anyone else get the warning for "Low Voltage" when you know your battery, connections and everything else is good. I can't figure this out. I've re-soldered the connections and all tested before use. My battery (7.5 ahr) tests at 13.7v before hooking it up. Two hours later(give or take) I get the warning and in 5 minutes the unit shuts off. I have the latest upgrade and I thought this would help the issue and has not. My battery read 13.2v when I came back. Same with other batteries as well. Any ideas? Thanx, BILL
