My RL70C MFD shows "no fix". I have unhooked the GPS terminal under the helm and disengaged the batteries. The reboot button on the MFD doesn't seem to do anything. I am as green as they come with this big boat instrumentation and don't know what else to troubleshoot. I don't want to put a lot of money into repairing out of date or obsolete equipment. Any help on what to troubleshoot and advice on what to replace old equipment with in the event its not worth repair. I will not be a "heavy" user of a lot of the features. I'm already having to replace my VHF. I know some of this stuff works together and want to ensure that continues to happen with whatever I buy.

Operation of Axiom with RMK 10
I have two Axiom 12s installed and reluctantly found that touch is not ideal when en route.
I am minded to buy one RMK 10 to begin with but am worried that I will not be able to move the cursor and select easily. This is based on iOS Raycontrol and 3.1 Lighthouse where the rotary control does not move the cursor but just adjusts zoom.
Is the a video showing the operation to put my mind at rest?
Any advice would be appreciated.

GPS location fix for Dragonfly 5 Pro
My Dragonfly 5 Pro has difficulties establishing a location fix. It is mounted on the console of a RIB, so there is nothing above the unit. Most of the time, it has difficulties establishing a fix when initially turned on. It does not seem to matter with actual location. I have used it in different areas, many miles apart, in the city, in wide open water or in bays of islands. Sometimes it will not find the location even after an hour or more of it being on. Often, I have to physically move the chart to the locating I am at, reset GPS in the settings and then it will pick up the satellites and obtain a location, sometimes nothing would happen. I have done this in conjunction with my Android phone and Android tablet and in all cases, the phone and/or tablet would pick up the location within 10 to 20 seconds. Am I doing something wrong with the unit? Should I consider getting an external antenna (if there is such a thing)? Otherwise the unit works well. The GPS issue is quite annoying.

Axiom Navionics+ Charts
I can't seem to get my Navionics charts on the Axiom to look like they do on either my A98 or in the Navionics app on my cell phone. The A98 and the Navionics app on the phone look identical. But the charts on the Axiom look terrible. The A98 has a Navionics+ chip and the pair of Axioms (raynet-worked together) have a Navionics+ chip to share, both chips have the Navionics+subscription paid and are updated identically.
(use pictures 1,2,3 for these points)
1. land feature drawings are distorted use the drawings of the dock for an example
2. the charts on the axiom always have these little tic marks all over them whereas the A98 and app do not (i need to find away to shut these tic marks off they are terrible, I've tried every setting)
(use pictures 5,6 for these points)
3.look how in picture 5 the contour lines are black with a white highlight line around them, whereas the other unit with the same chart app open at the same time is just the black line

GPS date and tide station level
My Axiom 7 indicates yesterday's date on the satellite page, but if I go to the navigating dashboard page, it indicates the correct date when I include "local date" on the screen. WHY?

eS98 and eS127 MFD's - Interrupt Problems?
Is there a known problem with conflicts or interrupts when switching on eS MFD and related devices?
I have an eS98 (data master) and an eS127 installed on my boat. I have Navionics and C-Map chart cards. Navionics is normally selected. The Navionics charts are updated to Freshest Data. My instruments are ST60 and my autopilot is ST7002 (I think). There is a SeaTalkNG adaptor in the system. My AIS is a Vesper XB8000.
I recently ran into a problem with getting both eS MFD’s to carry out Navigation Follow Route functions and to display AIS targets. I selected Navigation/Follow Route/Select Route/Follow Forward or Backward. I expected to see the chart with the route displayed. That did not happen. Selecting either Forward or Reverse did not result in anything happening. The screen stayed on the Follow Forward or Backward selection.
In an attempt to fix the problems I deleted all routes and waypoints and re-loaded Lighthouse version 19.03. I also re-synched routes from my iPad (Navionics app) to the eS98. I confirmed with My Data that waypoints and routes were present. The Navigation functions then worked as expected when a route was selected. I switched everything off until the following day. Upon switching on the next day (separate breakers for chartplotters/radar/instruments & autopilot/AIS) I found that once again I could not get the Navigation functions to operate.
After a week of sometimes working and sometimes not I accidently discovered that if I switched on the eS98 (master) and let it completely boot up, then the same with the eS127, then the breakers for radar, autopilot/instruments and AIS one at a time, both MFD’s then worked perfectly.
My assumption is that I must have previously been switching everything on too quickly, resulting in conflicts or interrupts. I wonder if this is a known problem and, if so, is it something that is fixable in a future software release.
Many thanks

CP370 and B164 not functioning right
I recently upgraded to a CP370 because my DSM300 just performed poorly offshore. I would lose bottom frequently as well inshore. The CP370 is connected to my E120 via A62360 to E55060 to E55049. The transducer I use is a B164 with a 20 degrees tilt. First time out I noticed I still lost bottom while i sped up and performance offshore was still poor and at times the screed showed "levels" of blocks. While back in the harbor the screen blanked red but showed the depth and didn't change with any gain adjustments. Temp has never been an issue and always worked. Very frustrated and just want my system to work properly.

I have a couple issues that need some technical advice. I recently update E120 software to v5.69 and afterwards every time I start up my screen stays white shuts off if I leave my navionics platinum card in. If I take my card out it starts up properly then I just insert my navionics card back in. Is this normal??

Power Steer with p70Rs and Seastar Smartstick
Just picked up the RM EV-150 Autopilot System for my boat and preparing to install. While reviewing the p70Rs manual, it states that "Power Steer mode is only available on vessels fitted with a rudder reference transducer" under the notes for Pilot Modes. I have twin outboards. QUESTION: Will the p70Rs be able to use the input from the Seastar Smartstick (Model AR4502RM) as the rudder reference for "Power Steer" where I am able to use the rotary controller or do I require a rotary style rudder reference transducer (shown in the system diagrams in the p70Rs manual)?

The wifi connection light is slow flashing blue, but the power light is slow flashing orange. Nowhere in the literature do I see anything about an orange light.
Anyone have any ideas?

C-80 Display w Chart and Radar - radar reversed
C-80 sfw 5.04 with Radome E52065 scanner. I was not able to overlay radar signal onto the chart [choice grayed out] so set up for side by side sync'd and both N-Up. Attached photo shows that radar display seems to show WPs correctly BUT radar signal [of land] seems reversed. Can someone explain this?

SL70/RD218 not showing targets
Hi everyone -
new to the forum, thought I'd post this question here after finding a lot of useful advice in the archives:
My new old boat came with an old Raytheon SL70 unit and a RD218 radome. It powers up, the scanner rotates but shows no targets/shoreline/whatever. If I turn gain way up to 93%, it displays some speckles and an obvious rotation pattern, black screen with rotation pattern above that.
From other posts in this forum I've learned to run the debug and self test programs - the debug screen shows S 50 G 207 in the first line, then C140 F55 S0 in the second line
The self test window shows 447 hours on the heater, reset count 0, and a pass on everything EXCEPT 2 values:
These are Receiver supply 5v FAIL and Receiver supply 12v FAIL.
Modulator Current SP, MP, LP readings are 113, 120, 131 respectively
Rotation time 2458, STC preset max 149
As I'm unfamiliar with these units, can anybody help suggest where to start troubleshooting regarding the two FAIL readings? I'm a bit confused as to why there seems to be power to both units, cable passes self test, magnetron heater, tuning, heading etc. pass self test, but the power readings indicate some issue. I'm grateful for your suggestions!

S2 wheel autopilot
my smart pilot computer E12180 shows no signal to drive motor. motor checked and is OK, S6002 control head indicated course is way off but responds properly to the +/- course change keys. deviation from accurate course is not consistent. could this be just a course computer issue and re-calibration will solve the heading problem or more likely to be a separate compass problem?

Es128 Chirp down vision issue
Having an issue with my downvision. I have a es128 and cpt100 ducer, chirp is working fine but when I get to any kind of depth, you can't see the downvision image- why? I'm talking like 20ft +. It is so faint it doesn't show up on the screen then disappears altogether. MFD has uddated software v19.03. Ev150/a dsm300(w/separate p66)/hd radar/sr150/ all connected as well.
I add d a photo- this is with all settings on auto. I did try manually changing gain/sensitivity/ zoom/range etc with zero improvement.

Depths supported by DownVision, RealVision 3D, and High CHIRP
Depths supported by DownVision, RealVision 3D, and High CHIRP
- DownVision sonar imaging is supported in depths up to 600' when using a DownVision of RealVision Transducer.
- RealVision 3D sonar imaging is supported in depths up to 300' when using a RealVision Transducer(s).
- High CHIRP (Conical) sonar is supported in depths up to 900' when using a DownVision, CPT-S, or RealVision Transducer(s).
Note: when a Y-Cable is used with a Axiom MFD, the MFD will not support High CHIRP (Conical sonar) and will instead support traditional 50kHz/200kHz sonar when interfaced to a compatible 50kHz/200kHz Transducer.
