The key mat of the c/e-Series MFDs is designed to float freely above the MFD's keyboard PCB. The left side of key mat is designed to be held in place by tabs on the key mat which slide under a lip on the right most side of the screen. The top and right sides of the key mat are designed to be held in place by the MFD's trim ring.
