suppression ferrites

I'm installing a couple of eS78MFD's and notice that the power cables did come supplied with suppression ferrites, even though the diagrams in the installation manual show the ferrites in place. Do suppression ferrites need to be added to the power cables, and if so, where can they be obtained?
