In order to add fishfinder features to a (C70, C80, C120) or hsb2 Pathfinder Series Radar and Chartplotter Displays (ex. RL70, RL70C, RL80, RC520, RC530, RC630, etc.), the display must be interfaced to one of the following retired Digital Sounder Modules (DSM):
- DSM300
- DSM30
- DSM250
The DSM will in turn be interfaced to a compatible fishfinder transducer. Please note that Raymarine no longer manufacturers DSMs for C-Series Classic MFDs or hsb2 Pathfinder Series Radar and Chartplotter Displays, necessitating that one seek such products within the second hand market. Please additionally note that instrument transducers and third party fishfinder transducers cannot be adapted for use with a DSM.
