ES or Axiom compatible with Raytheon XX Radar

Are wither the eS series or the Axiom series MFDs compatible with older Ratheon XX Radomes? Looking to upgrade GPS, chartplotter, etc. but would like to minimize overall financial impact. Thanks.

Double Depth Finder.

I have a catamaran with C80 chartplotter and ST60 intruments.
I have an ST60 tridata fed by AIRMAR transducers on my port side. To ease shallow water reading (24' beam) I'd like to add a plain ST60 depth display on my Stb side. AIRMAR transducers seem to be in short supply, can I rig it with a Raymarine Lexan Depth Transducer for ST60 & ST290. I have NEMEA 183 Network.
Now, If I get the ST60 connected to SeaTalk for power, will that interfere with the other depth finder? If it does where/how can I get the power to the new one? Straight from the Instruments' switch?

Autorouting with MFDs running LightHouse 3 software

Detailed instructions for the Autorouting feature may be found within Section 7.2 - Routes of the Axiom and Axiom Pro Advanced operation instructions LIGHTHOUSE v3.2xx. When using LightHouse v3.2.86 or later software, one may autoroute from the vessel's position or between two points specified by the user. To autoroute from the vessel's current location,
1. a Navionics chart card is present within the Axiom MFD's memory card reader, a networked Axiom MFD's memory card reader, or within the accessory USB memory card reader.
2. ensure that your Navionics chart card has an active Navionics Freshest Data subscription and has been updated with Freshest Data updates to the chart card's Nautical Charts and SonarCharts within the last 365 days.
3. the vessel's minimum safe depth, minimum safe height, and minimum safe width data have been entered into the MFD's Boat Details
4. open a Chart application page or page featuring the chart application
5. pan the chart to the location which you would like to navigate to
6. hold your finger pressed to the Chart application's screen to display the Chart pop-up menu
7. select "Autoroute to here" from the Chart pop-up menu

To autoroute between two points specified by the user,
1. a Navionics chart card is present within the Axiom MFD's memory card reader, a networked Axiom MFD's memory card reader, or within the accessory USB memory card reader.
2. ensure that your Navionics chart card has an active Navionics Freshest Data subscription and has been updated with Freshest Data updates to the chart card's Nautical Charts and SonarCharts within the last 365 days.
3. the vessel's minimum safe depth, minimum safe height, and minimum safe width data have been entered into the MFD's Boat Details
4. open a Chart application page or page featuring the chart application
5. pan the chart to the location which you would like to be the route's departure point
6. touch and hold your finger pressed to the Chart application's screen to display the Chart pop-up menu

Axiom 9 Software Update

I have downloaded the new software update and can see the file in my E: drive on my computer. But when I take the chip to my boat and insert it into the unit, and try to update the software, It says "no data available". It's not seeing the downloaded update.
I backed up my way points on the same microSD card and that file is visible and available to import, but the software update doesn't show up.
I tried to do the update online and after about 45 minutes and 400mb into it. I get a message that says "cannot connect to Raymarine Server".

Thank you.

Dragonfly 5 Pro with Nav+ Does Not Display Sonar Chart Data

A little more than a month ago I purchased Dragonfly 5 Pro with Navionics+ card and have been using it with the preloaded Navionics nautical charts. Up until a week ago I have never downloaded or updated anything on my MFD or Nav+ chip. I recently downloaded several sonar charts from Navionics using their Chart Installer application. When I go into Chart Settings / Chart Selection on my MFD I now show SonarCharts in addition to Nautical Charts. I selected SonarCharts, but no sonar chart data displays. A base map with only white space and a few coarse pink lines that may be road beds or creek channels displays for those lakes. (Chart Detail is set to High on the MFD.) Navionics Support has verified that my sonar chart downloads were successful. Their most recent suggestion was to re-format my Nav+ chip and reload it from scratch, which I did but still have the exact same problem. Nautical charts are fine, sonar charts are blank. Navionics located a Dragonfly unit in house and downloaded the sonar charts for those same lakes. They display fine on their Dragonfly. They are out of ideas and so am I. Has anyone had this issue or can anyone offer any suggestions? Thank you!

I have new Axion 12 c/w sea talk throughout he boat.
I would like to connect fuel gauges into the dashboard.
I have dual tanks with WEMA 30-240 ohm sending units and Suzuki fluid converters.

Are the systems compatible?
Suzuki digital displace totally inaccurate and totalizing fuel burn from mains leaves me with no idea how much fuel the kicker has used.

Hope someone can help. TKS

Networking two e97 MFDs

$

We have purchased two E97 MFDs. One is to be dedicated to Charting and the other dedicated to Sonar (Fish finder). We have no other electronics on board to network into these MFDs. These are already installed and have individual power connected and working. We are not using any of the data lines that is bundled into the power cable. From what information I am able to get from this forum, it appears that a SeaNet cable is what we need to buy to connect the two units so that we can share Waypoints. The Fishfinding mode is very good at picking waypoints as we travel over a spot that has a good bottom and need to get that number over to the Charting MFD. My questions are

1. Is the SeaNet cable the best way to connect the two MFDs?
2. Does it matter which SeaNet connector we connect this cable to on the back of the MFD?
3. Does the software automatically detect the multiple MFDs and prompt the user to Master/Slave relationship?
4. How does a user determine which MFD SD2 card is used for waypoints and screen capture?

Is there a user manual or some installation guide that I may have missed that would help us through this installation?

Thanks Chuck

Sonar selection

Recently purchased a 25' center console that has e127 Hybridtouch MFD w/FF
I have downloaded a manual but from what I see it looks like it has a P79 in hull transducer. I think I want a better sonar setup for coastal fishing. I understand the the e127 has an internal sounder, but will that work with a better transducer? Or do I need to go to a sonar module such as a CP200 with a CPT200? Sorry but I am new at this and don't know what I have or what I need.

L755 Fishfinder and correct transducer.

Hello Chuck and all.

This is an old story I want to resolve when we haul out next year.

I was originally sold:
Transducer Bronze
Tag on cable reads:
06-1197 M78923
50-200 Khz
RC 1822/31-114-1-01
With a manual for a B66V
L750 Fishfinder.

I have been told that the above was wrong because it was
Wrong Material for Steel Hull
Wrong manual
Wrong txd for L750

It never worked but I had to leave the country for weather window to cross South Atlantic.

The L750 then died, totally, dead.

I purchased an L755 Hsb Plus to replace it while visiting USA and left for Spain.

It also never worked when I installed it :(

I have the opportunity to haul the boat and correct this, now, its either the L755 or the Tdx, or incompatibility.

Can I peep at the service manual for the L755 to show me how to test if it is OK?
I'd hate to buy a new TXD and its the Fishfinder thats faulty.

IF OK> Please tell me what transducer to buy? (B66029?)No ref on Airmar site.
IF NOT OK> Please tell me what fishfinder to buy to use my existing TXD?

I am retired on small SS so take it easy on me please.

Kind Regards!

I have an A78, while out on the water it will start acting like it is lagging, gets choppy. Sometimes it will smooth back out, but at other times it will restart. This can happen 2-3 times an hour. I have the latest version as well.

Replacement Power Cord - Dragonfly 7 Pro

I plan to use the GPS / mapping feature of my Dragonfly 7 Pro this winter for ice fishing. I'm in need of a power-only cord that I can put an accessory (automotive lighter socket) plug on so I can run the unit in my truck.

Anyone know where I can find such a thing? I find just this accessory on the Raymarine website but it's for the Dragonfly 5 model only.

Thanks in advance.

Axiom Transducer / Sonar package selection

I have a Axiom with the transom mount transducer. I'm not satisified with the performance of that transducer, and I'm having an issue selecting a transducer that will allow me to see Depths up to 5000 feet. I understand I may need a sonar box as well. Please help with with my options as there are so many. Dual transducer, different sonar boxes. I do slow and high speed trolling, and deep dropping. So performance is important to me.

Thanks

What to do with YELLOW cable??

$

Installing a new ES127, discovered I needed to snake a 5m Spur cable thru a pedistal tube. Cut the cable and fished it out, only to find out that it was not long enough to get to a terminal block. West Marine gave me a Spur-to-Stripped End cable. No problem. Used (old stock) Raymarine junction box (white for old SeaTalk cable), but when mating both cables, the Spur cable has a YELLOW Cable, and the Spur-to Stripped End does not. What gives?? Is the Yellow cable connected to any of the other cables???
Thanks!

RL80-to ARAMAR B744VL

Moved a lightly used RL-80 to BluewaterSportfishing boat. It has installed a large Aramar B744vl.

What cable converter do I need to go from the Aramar to the RL-80? I also have a DSM300... What cable do I need for the DSM-to-Aramar, then fromthe DSM to the RL80? or to I punch out the finder and use one that can connect directly with the RL-80?

(I think that I need two (2) spearate cable connector conversion to make the DSM work in this system...)

Thanks

ST3000

I have an old ST3000 unit and the control head has given up the ghost the motor for the wheel unit is working fine. Am I right in assuming this control head can no longer be repaired? Assuming that is the case if I was to replace the old control head with Evolution components would they be compatible with the old motor unit. I don't want to change the wheel configuration if possible. I am a sailing boat. If my suggestion is possible can you list the parts I will require to purchase.
Many thanks.
