Transferring data from third party chartplotter to Axiom & a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFD
Unlike Raymarine's Axiom and a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs (updated with v14.36 or later software) which support the more universally supported GPX waypoint/route/track file format, many third party chartplotting products utilize proprietary waypoint/route files formats. Customers seeking to transfer data from third party chart plotting products or third party navigational planning applications using proprietary waypoint/route/track file formats to these MFDs will generally use GPS Utility as it supports a very large number of proprietary waypoint/route/track file formats. HumminbirdPC (free to registered Humminbird product owners) or ReefMaster Lite would be recommended for Humminbird HWR files. As GPS Utility supports Raymarine's proprietary Archive.FSH used my many retired Raymarine MFDs, GPS Utility is generally recommended for those seeking such conversions. Similarly, GPS Utility will produce data files for third party chart plotting products and third party navigational planning applications using data from Archive.FSH files. If considering use of GPS Utility, it is strongly recommended that the demo version of GPS Utility or ReefMaster Lite be downloaded to confirm that it supports the file format(s) used by the third party chart plotting product(s) and third party navigational planning application(s).
