"No Navigation Data" reported when engaging Track mode with Evolution autopilot

Raymarine's engineering team is presently investigating a problem in which the latest Evolution autopilot software (EV-1/EV-2: v2.17; ACU: v2.23; p70/p70S/p70R/p70RS: v3.07) will not support track mode with either of the following two types of systems:
- Garmin chartplotting products which have been interfaced to a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone to the which the Evolution autopilot components, or
- Raymarine chartplotting products which have been interfaced via a SeaTalk to SeaTalkng converter to a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone to the which the Evolution autopilot components.

This issue may be worked around by downgrading the autopilot's software to:
- CCU 1.11 & ACU 1.12
- p70/p70R 2.17.

For systems lacking a Raymarine MFD having a SeaTalkng communications interface, please click here to view a FAQ addressing how the software of the system's Raymarine products having a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 communications interface may be updated or downgraded.

After downgrading the software within an autopilot, it will be necessary to command autopilot to be reset (MENU->SET-UP->AUTOPILOT CALIBRATION->COMMISSIONING->PILOT FACTORY RESET), followed by full commissioning (Dockside Wizard, Deviation/Handling Cruise, and reconfiguration of settings (compass offset, Pilot Response, etc.). Please click here to view a FAQ addressing the operating conditions to conduct when taking the vessel for the aforementioned cruise.

After Raymarine releases new Evolution autopilot software to address this issue, this FAQ will be updated accordingly.
