What happened to my registered products and my Raymarine account?

Over past two years, I have replaced all my boats electronics with more than dozen Raymarine products and was religiously registering them on Raymarine website.

I had an account with username and password, and when I clicked on product registration link I could log in and see my previously registered products with purchase date and warranty information. Life was beautiful.

Today I noticed some crazing on one of my older instruments and decided to check the warranty status of that display.

To my big surprise, when I click to product registration link it no longer seems to offer option to view already registered products. It only offers to register new products. And then I click on 'Sign In' link I my username no longer works. Instead it asks me to register with Customer Number that I don't have.

After circling around in Raymarine website I found that, if I go to http://members.raymarine.com, I can still log in with my old username and password. And there is a 'Manage my Raymarine Account' link that goes to page that has a link labeled 'View Registered Products'. BUT following that links takes me to same product registration page that allows only registration of new stuff or requires account registration with Customer Number.

So what happened here?

It seems there is now tow different account systems:

1. http://members.raymarine.com that has lost it's product registration ability.

2. http://customer.raymarine.com that requires some Customer Number to register.

So where do I get this Custome or Account Number to register at http://customer.raymarine.com?

Do I need to reenter the registration of all my products again at new account system?

Why this has to be so painful?
